If I could give DJ Mike Melice 10 stars, I would! We had our wedding at the John Joseph Inn in Groton, NY, and hiring Mike was hands down one of the best decisions we made. From the very beginning, he went above and beyond to make sure every detail was perfect—and the result was the best night of our lives. For our ceremony, we had the most beautiful live violin music that set the tone for such a meaningful moment. We really wanted a saxophone player during the reception and had something very specific in mind. DJ Mike went out of his way to try and find that for us and bring that to life, and he DID. Colin was incredible, playing along side DJ Mike and it was better than anything I could have imagined. People could not stop raving about how amazing and unbelievable he was. Do yourself a favor and add on the saxophone and violin!!! Mike has this incredible ability to read the crowd, keep the energy high, and make the dance floor absolutely electric all night long. Mike was not just a DJ—he was a true professional, an artist, and a huge reason why our wedding felt so magical. He was responsive, and genuinely took an interest in us. He took our vision and amplified it and made it all come to life. Our friends and family are still raving about the music, and we’ll never forget how he created the perfect soundtrack for the best night of our lives. If you are getting married in the Finger Lakes (or anywhere at all), do yourself the biggest favor and book DJ Mike, you will not regret it!!

If you’re looking for the best wedding DJ in NY, stop your search now: DJ Mike Melice is everything you could want and more. We got married on June 21st, 2025 at The State Room in Albany and honestly threw the best party. From the very beginning, Mike was incredibly easy to work with. He answered every question we had during the planning process, was always available for a call, and his website made it simple to choose songs and customize our experience. We asked for a classy vibe during cocktail hour and dinner, and a complete switch to nightclub energy for the reception. He absolutely delivered! The dance floor was packed the entire night, and our guests could not stop raving about him. Several even told us he was the best wedding DJ they’ve ever seen. Mike handled every detail with care. He nailed our custom entrance songs, even the hard-to-find ones, and made perfect announcements that matched our energy. He took the time before the reception to gather our bridal party and family so everything flowed exactly as we wanted. The photo booth and club cannon were a huge hit, and every song was a banger. Music was one of our top priorities when planning our wedding, and choosing Mike was the best decision we made. He truly made our night unforgettable and we will forever recommend him to anyone looking for a wedding DJ!
