Hi Heidi, We are truly sorry to hear that parts of your experience didn’t meet expectations and we appreciate the opportunity to provide clarity. Our goal is always to deliver a seamless, joyful day for every couple, and we regret that miscommunications around scheduling and technical details caused frustration on yours. To clarify, the band was contracted to provide ceremony sound support and a 5 hour reception performance. The ceremony sound service includes the setup and operation of microphones and PA for the officiant and readers, but it does not cover additional music performance or DJ services outside the contracted timeline. When we received your final schedule 3 days prior to the wedding, we noted that ceremony activities began 3 hours before the contracted start time. Any additional time or MC duties occurring outside that window were communicated to your planner ahead of the event and billed at a reduced overtime rate to accommodate your day and its unique timeline. We want to assure you that no new policies were created, and all additional fees were discussed and finalized before the wedding date. Our team worked closely with your planner to make sure ceremony sound was fully covered and that all adjustments were handled in advance—not on the morning of the event. We would also like to sincerely apologize for the technical issue that occurred during your family’s choreographed dance. The correct tracks had been provided and downloaded in advance but an adapter compatibility issue prevented the playback device from connecting properly. We take full responsibility for this oversight and have since updated our pre-event equipment checks to prevent similar issues in the future. While we are grateful that you and your guests enjoyed the musicians’ live performance, we understand that logistical hiccups can impact the overall experience. We truly regret that this caused stress on your wedding day and appreciate your feedback, as it helps us strengthen our systems and communication for the future.
