A Big-Ticket Sound Experience
A Big Ticket Sound Experience was founded in the early 90s by Mark Hardin as the DJ Service for simple for hire social events and school dances. Then, moved quickly to DJing some of the biggest clubs in SF and nearby Bay Area cities. When Mark moved to the Sacramento area, he started working at Busby Berkeley, which was a swank nightclub on the 15th floor of the Hyatt Regency Hotel (Downtown Sacramento). Now, A Big-Ticket Sound Experience provides quality music selection, personable emcee skills, and non-intrusive party hosting. “It is my personal goal to go above and beyond; making your wedding or social event spectacular”.
Even though I have decades under my belt, I’m always trying to learn, keep up to date on the latest sound and lighting technology, and improve what I do. On the night of your wedding or special event, I’ll uplift you and your special guests and keep everyone entertained, without taking center stage. I strongly feel that on the night of your event, we are all working together as a family to keep you happy.

Mark is the man!
If you envision a lit dance floor on your wedding day, Mark is your guy! My husband and I cannot thank him enough for his guidance and support throughout the entire wedding planning process. The Vibo app he uses breaks down each section of the ceremony and reception, making it easy to build playlists that he skillfully integrates into the flow of the day. Mark was professional, communicative, and incredibly flexible—allowing us to make last-minute edits right up to our wedding date. Our expectations were completely exceeded as we danced the night away with our loved ones. The energy never dipped for a moment, and I went absolutely feral when he dropped a mash-up of Lady Gaga’s “Abracadabra” and Charli XCX’s “Von Dutch.” His mixing abilities and unmatched MC skills kept the night flowing seamlessly and the crowd completely engaged. Choose Mark, and you’ll quickly understand why he’s earned so many awards and accolades.
