    My husband and I were beyond impressed with our entire experience with Debra Aslanidis Photography. From start to finish Debra made my experience as a bride so smooth and stress-free. Wedding planning can be a stressful process, but Debra provided excellent communication about what to expect leading up to the wedding and the day of, so we felt very at ease the entire time. When I ran into an unrelated issue (a problem with another vendor), Debra reached out and sent me recommendations and offered support while I dealt with the situation. It was unbelievably kind and not at all expected, but it really made me feel cared for and I appreciated Debra going above and beyond for me! On the day of our wedding, Debra and her partner Jeremy were absolutely phenomenal. For one, they worked so perfectly together. We had guests complimenting how well they worked and coordinated together! I seriously can’t thank them enough for not only being amazing photographers, but also helping with other tasks that they voluntarily did. I seriously felt like they assumed the role of our wedding coordinators at times, since we didn’t have one, by providing suggestions and opinions since they’re the experienced ones when it comes to weddings! I couldn’t be more thankful for their confidence and comfortability in doing so! Finally, I am seriously blown away by the fact that we got our photos about a month after our wedding day! Debra has worked weddings, engagement shoots, and other photoshoots every single weekend and has a family, yet still managed to bust her butt to finish our photos, and it was the best surprise to get our photos back right before celebrating one month of marriage. I am so in love with our photos and have looked at them every single day, multiple times a day, since getting them back. Photos are the one thing you keep from your wedding day (besides your memories!), and I am absolutely in love with the final photos! The editing is beautiful, and I’m so happy we prioritized finding a photographer who emphasizes the behind-the-scenes and candid moments. I love that our pictures are 100% in the moment and capture the real, raw emotions of everyone! There were several detailed shots of our venue and decor and I love those just as much as I love the ones of me, my husband, our families, and our friends! They’re all so stunning!! Our photos made me laugh, cry, audibly say “awww,” and smile the biggest, cheesy grin. I absolutely believe your photographer is one of the most important vendors you choose for your wedding day, and I would 1000% recommend Debra Aslanidis Photography to everyone I know!!

    Debra Aslanidis Photography did an amazing job capturing me and my wife’s wedding day! From the start they were great about communicating with us about what was needed but never being pushy for information or payments. On our wedding day we met with them both and they got straight to work taking beautiful pictures of the venue. They did a great job making our after ceremony pictures enjoyable, using the area around the venue to their advantage and allowing us freedom in picture options as well. Debra was amazing as well at just making sure we were comfortable throughout the night and had everything we needed even outside of pictures. They were very affordable, amazing to work with, and all around good people. I would hire them again for photography in a heartbeat!

    Working with Debra Aslanidis Photography was truly amazing. Searching for a photographer is a stressful part of the wedding planning process, as you want to ensure your special day is captured in its most natural way. I was searching for a photographer that coupled an artistic touch with candid, documentary style shots and that is exactly what we found. Having the opportunity to meet and work with her for our engagement shoot which was included in our package was great. She was willing to travel and meet us at a new location she hadn’t shot at before and the photos turned out great. Come the wedding day I knew I was in good hands and would have our precious memories captured to look back on for years. The posed shots turned out absolutely beautiful and it wasn’t a long drawn out process to capture them. We were still able to take it all in, be in the moment, and enjoying the day. Debra was professional, responsive, and approachable throughout the entire process. She was down to earth and calm, willing to listen to our ideas and make sure to capture what we had in mind, while also bringing her own expertise to the table. It truly felt like having a friend there with us all day, helping to make our wedding day perfect!

    We booked Debra for our upcoming wedding, just arranging a time to speak with her proved to be difficult. I attempted 4 times to email her to ask for videographer recommendations without reply. She then emailed us to ask for the remaining balance ahead of when it was due so she could arrange her travel. The quality of her photos on her portfolio and those she posts vary tremendously. Upon us attempting to cancel services she was unwilling to refund any of our retainer fee, and insisted that we sign a cancelation contract that has a confidentiality clause in it. Throughout an email thread she was told over 10 times in writing that her services were canceled. She is insisting that we sign a 'legally binding cancelation' which has terms stating that both parties agree terms are fair and neither party are able to discuss any information regarding the contract. Debra is unorganized, nonresponsive, unprofessional and a poor choice to capture your big day. After doing a deeper dive there are plenty of other negative reviews of her. We are so thankful we dodged a bullet and did not keep her as our wedding photographer.

I take all feedback seriously, and it’s always my goal to provide a positive, professional, and responsive experience for every client. To clarify a few points for transparency: • I did experience a delay in responding to your request for vendor referrals, which I fully acknowledged and apologized for. • The retainer fee is clearly stated in the contract as non-refundable, as it secures your date and covers the time and planning invested in advance. • The cancellation agreement you were asked to sign is a standard industry practice—meant to confirm in writing that services are canceled and both parties understand the terms already outlined in the original contract. • The confidentiality clause was not intended to silence, but to protect both parties and avoid miscommunication moving forward. I recognize that wedding planning can be stressful, and I truly regret that our communication didn’t align during this time. I remain committed to improving in every way I can and wish you all the best in your future plans.
