We had a fabulous wedding reception at the Donauschwaben German Cultural Center (Lenau Park). Their entire staff—from their awesome coordinator Christine to their banquet captain and bar staff—was so kind, so professional, and most importantly made our guests feel welcome and taken care of. Christine came to every meeting organized and prepared. She understands the details as well as the emotions that go into planning a wedding and was a great part of our support system. She is fair and reasonable—even helped us make a German Hall a little more “Italian” for the bride. We could not have asked for a better partner! As for the venue itself, it was the perfect place to host 300 of our closest friends and family. The space was beautiful, bright and happy. Our guests were comfortably seated at 32 round tables of 8 to 10. The team made all of our décor visions come to life. The outdoor patio was welcoming and comfortable for guests as well. The dance floor is huge! Perfect for an Italian tarantella. I would also say the room is set up well acoustically—with 300 people in the room and music playing, you could still hear the other people at your table. The entryway was also perfect for our receiving line. We were happy to see that guests could enjoy their time—whether they wanted to dance the night away, sit and chat, or just enjoy the night air with family. The food was excellent—seriously excellent. We got so many compliments after the wedding! They have their buffet line down to a science with all of our guests being served in a reasonable amount of time. They also did a great job of meeting the needs of our gluten- and dairy-free guests. That is so hard to do when you are feeding so many people, and even these guests said they enjoyed their meals. Finally, the money we spent on this wedding reception was well worth the value. The food and beverage packages are incredibly fair for the quality and the amount of food your guests will be served. We were also able to add appetizers and some special add-ons at a reasonable rate. The linens are provided by a separate vendor, but even those costs were not too bad, and everything looked beautiful when it was decorated! While there are certain rules the venue must follow and sometimes we needed to negotiate the details, Christine was highly transparent and upfront with us, and always worked with us to find the right solution for our day. After hosting our wedding here, we would absolutely do it again with this space and this team. When it comes to the Donauschwaben, we strongly recommend them for your wedding reception and cannot say enough good things about their level of service!

We chose The Factory Event Center for our daughter’s wedding, and couldn’t have been happier with the decision. From our first meeting through the final goodbyes, April and her team were thoughtful, organized, and made everything easy. The gardens are truly a highlight. We toured in late spring, and were wondering how the garden ceremony space would look in the fall — it turned out to be absolutely breathtaking and the perfect backdrop. Every detail during the event ran smoothly: the setup, the coordination, the flow, and the atmosphere. Guests kept commenting on how beautiful everything was. We are so grateful to April and everyone at The Factory for making our daughter’s wedding joyful, memorable, and stress-free.

We were so happy we chose High Line Car House! The space is the perfect combination of industrial brick but also high quality finishes and a great layout. Jackie, our point of contact and day of coordinator, was really great to work with. If you are looking for a warm, blank canvas space with an intimate feel, I HIGHLY recommend touring Lake Affect! As soon as my husband and I walked into the space we knew it was the one. So at least go look. Our vision came to life so beautifully, too. (Make sure you use up-lighting.) It could have been the newlywed high, but the atmosphere felt so heavenly and romantic. Stefanie was an amazing venue coordinator throughout the whole process. She answered the many questions I had leading up to the day and made sure all the vendors were where they needed to be. I planned my wedding from Pittsburgh and she made sure I felt comfortable and confident with the process throughout. They didn't have a bunch of hidden fees and the pricing felt reasonable compared to other venues and has the bar package included. Great value IMO. I also loved that we had basically all of Friday to set up the venue for Saturday. If you're in Cleveland and interested in the industrial vibe, make sure you check Lake Affect Studios out. It's an underrated venue.

Once home to the likes of Kroger, Bender Liquor Supply, and Spano’s Market, this beautiful building offers historic charm and modern amenities with a splash of elegance. We were married at Hotel Covington in September 2024 and it was hands down one of the best decisions we have ever made. I could go on forever about how wonderful every single person was – Ashley was amazing getting us started with HC, then seamlessly handed us over to Riley who was with us until the day of the wedding. The staff was attentive to our needs, and we were so bummed when the night was over. All our guests (including our sweet doggie) felt incredibly welcome. We have officially made it a point to visit Hotel Covington every few months for drinks, and plan to stay there again for our anniversary. Thank you to the entire team at HC : )

Mica and the whole staff at The Windamere really made our wedding better than we could’ve imagined. From the beginning, Mica was very straightforward and honest. All of her pricing was transparent and she was thorough with us. The venue offered the history and charm we were looking for at a decent price and Mica gave us the peace of mind by being our day of coordinator. I loved that we were all able to get ready on site and never saw each other until our first look. We also enjoyed that she has a secluded vip area for us right after the ceremony so we could take a few minutes to breathe before the reception. She helped through the decor process and was very timely with communication, especially as we were planning from 500 miles away. We are so grateful for her and her team.

Lakewood, OH
  • Up to 349 guests

  • Starts at $4,000

Five fun facts about the Lake Erie Building: 1. We were originally built to be Templar Motors back in 1917. There were less than 3,000 of these cars ever manufactured and if you look carefully, you may even be able to spot one while in the event space! 2. Omni Lakewood purchased the building in 2005 and now manages the building, which has been divided into individual suites that are home to over 100 businesses. 3. The west parking lot where our dock is located used to be a test track for Templar Motors. 4. We host only one event per weekend and give our clients access beginning on Wednesday so they can bring in all their personal touches! We also only require cards and gifts go with them that night and everything else can stay giving you more time to spend with your new spouse! 5. We include a private parking lot and have a huge municipal lot across the street that's available to guests. We offer 3 wedding rental packages.

The venue itself is a large, open blank canvas with a lot of potential - we were able to transform the space into exactly what we envisioned. Having access to the venue from Wednesday through Monday was a huge reason we chose this venue, and it was amazing to be able to set up and take our time without feeling rushed. The team made sure we had everything we needed and were available to answer any of our questions along the way. We're so grateful to the Lake Erie Building for helping make our wedding day truly unforgettable.

A huge and heartfelt shoutout to Jennifer Brown, the onsite wedding coordinator, who was nothing short of a miracle worker. When unexpected rain threatened our outdoor ceremony, Jennifer seamlessly pivoted our entire setup indoors—without missing a beat. Her calm, professional demeanor kept us at ease, and the indoor ceremony space ended up being absolutely breathtaking. Our wedding in September 2024 at Greystone was so beautiful! The space was perfect and unique. We loved the separation between the cocktail hour room, large bar area and ballroom. Our guests were able to flow through the venue with ease and we received so many compliments about the venue, the food and the staff that night. We had signature drinks and the bar staff did a great job making those. The appetizers we picked and the food was delicious and served quickly. Overalls I would recommend this space to everyone I know.

My husband and I initially wanted to elope. That is, until, we found this space. If you want your wedding day to feel like an absolute dream, while still being intimate and beautiful, you need to book CoLab. We had our ceremony there, and it was perfection from start to finish. Maureen is truly everything—she was with us every step of the way, making sure everything was just right and exactly what we wanted and hoped for. She handled every curveball and question with total grace. The space itself is gorgeous. It's airy while still being moody. There are so many beautiful details around the space that make for a perfect backdrop. The decor adds so much to the space without taking away from your event. CoLab is gorgeous but I truly believe that it’s Maureen that makes it special. She genuinely cares about her clients, and it shows. I felt like I had a close friend there for me as we were waiting for the ceremony to begin, which is exactly what you want and need. Someone in your corner, hyping you up, and bringing the kindest presence to the day. Even if you opt out of her being there for you day-of, know that everything she does behind the scenes before the event is worth the cost and then some. If you want a ceremony spot that feels like a cozy, beautiful home for your big day, this is it. And if you’re on the fence—just do it. You’ll thank me later! (If you're doing ceremony-only at CoLab, I'd recommend that you book the extra lounge space, trust me! We booked both spaces and it made for such a seamless day and gave folks a place to mignle and chat before and after the ceremony!)

Opened in 2012, the event center is unmatched in providing for a memorable event with unforgettable sunset views over Lake Erie and a perfect view of the Cleveland Skyline.

This venue is unreal. The rooftop is just so cool and unique and the views are incredible. The fourth floor reception space was beautiful as well. So many of our guests told us how much they loved the vibe of the venue. There are so many beautiful photo locations throughout the building inside and outside. Tracey was amazing to work with - it was so clear she knew what she was doing and I never had to stress at all. The midges came out the week of our October wedding so we had to make a decision about the rooftop, but Tracey was so helpful and luckily we were able to do rooftop ceremony and serve cocktail hour food and drinks on the fourth floor. It is so cool that the rooftop stays open all night - our guests loved it! Also, the bar staff was incredible and the drinks were amazing! The bride and groom suites were so convenient too. It was so nice for our bridal parties to hang out there all morning and made clean up so easy and flexible.
