In 1910, President Taft signed the bill to establish Glacier National Park as the country’s 10th national park. Mr. Healy was given a plumbing contractor for the train depot here in St. Paul, where he met Samuel Bartlett, the architect of many of the railroad depots and Glacier National Park Lodge. Healy then commissioned Bartlett to renovate and enlarge the house. In 1914, the farm was sold to John Healy, the owner of Healy Plumbing and Heating Company of St. Paul. Mr. Healy’s company became closely tied to the Great Northern Railroad, as it provided the heating and plumbing for many of the train depots that were being built around the country at that time. The farm was named Hope Glen Farm, the name of John Healy’s mother’s maiden name of Hope, and the house settles in a Glen, thus Hope Glen.

Hope Glen Farm was the perfect choice for our wedding venue. From the very first communication, the team was clear, detailed, and incredibly personable. They went above and beyond to ensure every detail of our special day was executed flawlessly. The coordination meetings leading up to the wedding, along with the helpful client portal, kept us on track and confident that everything would be perfect. On the day of, the staff was amazingly helpful and attentive - Eryka in particular was a true godsend, keeping us organized and responsive to our every need. The Bridal Bliss decor package they offer is a must, as the venue looked absolutely beautiful and pristine. We couldn't have asked for a better experience, and feel the value we received was worth every penny. Plus a wedding night in a Tree House or Corn Crib Cottage? How can you beat that?! We highly recommend Hope Glen Farm to any couple looking for a stress-free, stunning wedding celebration.

This place is truly spectacular - we hosted over 300 people and the venue never felt crowded. Brad and Louise were an absolute delight to work with, from the moment we met them at the initial tour all the way through cleanup… it was an incredible experience. They are just a delight as a couple and really know how to make small details feel magical. They were wonderful with our vendors and make everything run smoothly. Our guests could not stop raving about the venue and its beauty. Our vendors mentioned how kind and accommodating the owners were to support them. I cannot recommend this place enough. What a magical and beautiful venue so close to Woodbury. Cant wait to host more events at The Madison. The flexibility of the layout is perfect for any vision you have re: design. We had vendors, entertainers, backdrops, music, food, coffee bar etc. it was an incredible day. Thank you!
