Once a part of a larger working ranch, the Twisting T-Bar remains a working ranch that encompasses roughly 160+ acres of Nevada range land that borders the East Fork of the Carson River. Originally called Cold Spring Ranch due to an ice cold spring. The Dorrington Hotel was built in 1852 by John Gardner who married Rebecca Dorrington and moved her out from Scotland.
