“I completely recommend Blue Plate, but if you need more info, please read on. David at Blue Plate was amazing to work with; he’s kind, flexible, and responsive, and was willing to work with all the dietary restrictions both we, and our guests had, without making anything feel awkward or difficult. It was so easy to work with them to create a menu we wanted for our rehearsal and reception dinners, with full bar service. I also had them cater my bridal shower and they did an AMAZING job. Working with them felt very customizable, which is often not something you find in caterers. We made a lot of last minute changes to both our service and menu requirements due to COVID restrictions and Blue Plate handled this safely and effectively. I gave four stars because of the ultimate reception service the day of: there was a drink recipe confusion for one of our signature drinks, cake cutting scheduling error, they forgot to add a dessert sauce to our cake before serving, and there was small change in the entree from our tasting appointment to our reception dinner which we didn’t expect - I was lax about following up and clarifying details beforehand so I think the ultimate fault is with me not communicating well, and not with Blue Plate. I think if you specify details clearly they would easily match all your requests. I 100% recommend them, and I know if we have catering needs in the future we will want to work with Blue Plate. David is a one of a kind human and I appreciated working with him!”

“It was an amazing experience working with the three amazing people we were assigned for our wedding. We booked a photographer, videographer, and DJ through this company and I don’t think I could have asked for much more than what they did for us! Finding vendors for these three jobs was very important to me as a bride because I wanted to make sure it was going to be a stress free and memorable day. I wanted to make sure everything was captured and that friends and family would have the best time possible celebrating with us. To start with our photographer Sean, he is such an amazing individual and was such a light hearted and fun energy to have. He got along with everybody and was so patient with our youngest and oldest family members. The photos we received were amazing and captured so many great moments without feeling posed. Our videographer Jason captured such great moments for us and cracked so many jokes throughout the day. Our video is absolutely amazing and was pretty close to what I had imagined before receiving it. When your videographer willingly whips out a kart wheel to show off to a group of dancers, you know he’s passionate about his job. Lastly our DJ John was the perfect DJ for our party! He was so attentive and absolutely hilarious. An amazing MC and worked with me to create several surprises throughout the night. As a dancer and perfectionist, I could not have asked for someone to have read the room any better! I never had to ask for songs to be skipped and my guests felt so comfortable to approach him with requests. I don’t know if we could ever put into words how well they worked together. Everyone that we dealt with through this company made our experience so easy to manage.”

The first thing that came to mind was an outdoor country club wedding. After touring a few, we realized this was not what we wanted due to unpredictable weather, inconvenience for out of town guests, and rustic vibes we were not trying to go for. Family recommended The Concourse so I reached out to Kylie. During our first tour we knew this was where we wanted to get married. The elegant experience that The Concourse provides is unmatched. (My favorite part being the neutral carpet, no one wants bright red or blue carpet in your wedding pictures.) During one of the most stressful times, stressing about weather and rain is something you can easily take off your plate by being indoors. This venue is perfect to have everything in one place from the rehearsal, to the ceremony, to the reception. Kylie is not only helpful, but goes above and beyond to make your day perfect. She is there every step of the way in the months and days leading up to the big day to make sure your vision becomes a reality.
