A’bulae is wonderful! My husband and I do not live in town so we chose the Essentials Package with A’bulae so it would make the planning easier. It really did help everything go smoothly! First, the A’bulae venue is gorgeous and perfect for any weather condition (which helped me not to feel stressed!). The people working at A’bulae respond to emails promptly and professionally. They also help lay out a day-of schedule and handle a lot of the planning. They reach out and meet with the couple several times throughout the wedding planning process to put everyone at ease. Another plus is their in-house decorations, linens, chairs, and tables they set up for weddings. They have several options you can choose from. Further, while A’bulae does require you to use their in-house catering, the food is amazing. All the apps and entrees we chose were delicious. Above all, my favorite part about A’bulae is how they allow you to personalize your wedding as you see fit. My husband and I made our own monogram and cake topper, we made a slideshow to scroll during the social hour, my husband played piano, and we did an about-the-couple trivia game on the screens. It was really fun and made the event special and unique to us. A’bulae worked really hard to make this happen. Even when there was a slight technology issue, they called someone to figure out the solution remotely, and they had the problem solved very quickly. The team worked hard to make everything seamless. Overall, we had an amazing experience, and I’m really glad we chose A’bulae.

The venue itself has a speakeasy vibe we loved. It was affordable and included all of the things we were looking for. We loved all of the photo opportunities (the building has beautiful exposed brick, and Mears park is right around the corner). We especially loved the rooftop and skyline photos. Victoria, the venue manager, was so accommodating and helpful. She helped us organize a micro ceremony in the reception space, helped set up, and even captured and shared pictures and videos of our day with us. She went above and beyond to help make our day special and individualized to us.

I recently had my wedding at North Garden Theater and could not have been happier. This was such a gem to find. Ryan and Tina were amazing to work with, so responsive and helpful. You can tell they really care about making sure your event goes perfectly. Tables, chairs and linens came with the rental, which most places do not do. We got to customize the lighting, the dance party lighting (which is extensive with fog machine!), and the entire layout. They have a bar onsite and the cocktails were great! They were able to serve our guests very quickly. We used multiple Spotify playlists for our music and Ryan was on point switching between them at the right times. The facilities were amazing too; large dressing room to get ready, and nice big bathrooms that they continually cleaned throughout the night. They are also big on reducing waste so we were able to use all compostable cups, which we also had our caterer use all compostable plates and silverware. I really do not have enough great things to say about Ryan, Tina and NGT; they made such a magical day for us!!!

I was, well, not exactly excited about the entire wedding planning process. It's just not really my thing. So when I found out that the Graduate Minneapolis (a hotel my family and I have stayed at many times over the years) did wedding packages, I was thrilled. I knew that I wanted to book a venue that would let us do both the ceremony and reception in the same space. What you get depends on which package you choose, but catering, flatware, linens, tables, chairs, alcohol, servers, bartenders, and honestly some things I'm forgetting about are all included and at a surprisingly reasonable price. And Michael, the catering and events director, could not be more lovely to work with. He far exceeded our expectations and made every step go smoothly. It's just an added perk that your guests can also stay at the venue.

We had an unforgettable wedding at the University of Minnesota Campus Club in February. We had about 6 months to plan our wedding and working with the staff at the Campus Club made the planning process more fun than anything! They had great taste and suggestions for the wedding, responded quickly to questions, and were so kind. We were also allowed to have our dog at the ceremony! It made the planning process streamlined because we could have the ceremony, dinner, food, and the dance floor all in one place. The venue already had so much character that one doesn't need a lot of extra decorations (and extra work). The space is so large that it does not feel crowded to have the entire wedding at this location. What drew us to this location were the stunning views of Minneapolis, the incredible food options (the guests could not stop talking about the steak!), and the multiple options you had for room choices. We rented out the West Wing and the bar area, which proved to be a great option for guests to mingle after the ceremony and before dinner. With amazing views, delectable food, and a beautiful venue it made our wedding a perfect day!

Quincy Hall was an incredible venue for our wedding! We had around 200 guests for our September wedding and it felt simultaneously spacious and cozy. The QH team was very responsive and helped with planning every step of the way. They were also super accommodating and helped fine ways for us to meet out budget while still getting the experience we were looking for. The venue and surrounding area had a number of spots for stunning, industrial vibe photos and we couldn't be happier with the look and feel for our day. Our food was also outstanding. We knew the food at Crave would be delicious, but we received so many compliments from guests about their meals. They have some of the most reasonable prices on the market and the catering staff were super professional and polished. Overall, we had a great experience and would highly recommend Quincy Hall!

Words cannot describe what an amazing experience it was to get married at Mendakota Country Club! Adena and the entire Mendakota staff made everything run seamlessly, and I received so many compliments after our wedding about how kind and helpful all of the staff members were. Adena was amazing throughout the planning process. As a bride without a wedding planner and planning from out of state, I had endless questions that Adena answered quickly and graciously. The country club was absolutely gorgeous, and it was so nice to get ready, have the ceremony, and host the reception all in one place. Many venues require additional planning from outside catering, so hiring Mendakota for all food and alcohol made the process so much less stressful. Adena helped us set up sunset photos after dinner, and those are some of my favorite photos that we took out on the golf course. I am so grateful for Mendakota's hospitality to help make our wedding day so beautiful and memorable and would recommend the venue to anyone planning a wedding!

We had the pleasure of working with The Emery Hotel for our wedding on New Year Eve (12.32.25) and we couldn’t be happier with our experience! From start to finish, they were supportive, professional, responsive, organized, and SO incredibly helpful. Sheena, Nick, Josh, and all the rest of the staff went above and beyond by helping us ensure the event ran smooth, that our guests felt welcomed, and were so attentive throughout the entire process. Their catering, event arrangements, décor, bar services, hotel service was stunning, delicious, beautifully executed, and our guests couldn’t stop raving about it! They said it was one of the best weddings they’d ever been too. It’s all because of the amazing vendors we had the pleasure of working with, like everyone at The Emery Hotel. From the moment we stepped into Watson Block we just knew it was exactly what we were looking for in a venue. If your vibe is intimate, romantic, old world charm this is your spot. Pictures don’t do it justice and it’s so beautiful you truly need very little to make it your own. Gaby was incredible for the entire planning process all the way through to our big day. We did almost everything ourselves- including creating an arch to be married under, to signage, to table decor, even our own wedding flowers. Gaby answered every question with ease and was incredible at assuaging my nerves. She and her team set things up perfectly from the ceremony to the switch for dinner and then dancing. I often questioned if we needed a day of coordinator and was so happy I didn’t waste my money on one because it wasn’t needed. I never knew a day could be as truly magical as our wedding was and a huge part of that was how much we loved our venue. I would happily suggest it to anyone asking. The other huge bonus is it was truly one of if not the best value for venues in the twin cities. This gem will continue to gain notoriety as an incredible venue for years to come!!

After touring multiple venues in Minneapolis, the Lumber Exchange was the perfect choice for us. Without knowing exactly what our "dream wedding" would look like, the team at the Lumber Exchange guided us through planning in a way that organically created the PERFECT day and night for our wedding. The venue's new chef, Ali, was so incredible and worked with us to make a few changes to an already-DELICIOUS menu (we asked for a lighter sauce to go with the salmon) and the guests said all night that it was some of the best wedding food they've ever had! The parking ramp attached to the venue was great for guests to easily access an otherwise-intimidating downtown excursion! The bridal and groom's suites were both beautifully maintained and secure for the day and evening making it so comfortable to get ready and celebrate! Also, between the parking ramp rooftop, the stunning staircase and light shining in from downtown through the massive windows in the Dylan Room, the venue provided so many amazing photo opportunities. We were so at ease for the entire process, and we would recommend this space to anyone looking for a classy venue that is SO well-run, all of the typical stressors one might encounter in planning a wedding are completely taken care of. A special thanks to Hannah Fox who was our assigned (included in the cost of the rental) coordinator and Shannon who was the manager of the building for both our rehearsal and the entire wedding day. They were a dream team one can only........dream of! Attention to detail, charming personalities and complete support of all ideas we had!

We had an Amazing Wedding 10/15/2022 at Windows on Minnesota! Started the day with a get ready room prepared by the hotel and added on breakfast for the wedding party on the 3rd floor which was so spacious and made PERFECT get ready photos! Groomsmen used a suite to get ready in and we loved having our own spaces to keep the morning calm and special for all of us. Our ceremony was off site, but used Stars for a cocktail space for our 206 guests which had perfect views and LOVE the passed mushroom arancini appetizer!! My only recommendation is adding an extra bar (3rd bar for us) so the lines are not long for your guests. Our reception was in Galaxy and the plated dinner options were truly amazing, we chose Beef short ribs, asiago chicken, pesto salmon (thank you Chef Evan and Chef Mike for customizing) and the mushroom risotto! I continue to hear from our guests that each dinner option and pear salad was so good! Special shout our to Angel in Engineering for helping us with a special request! The banquet staff Michael, Diane, Melissa, Grace, Ricarda, Randy, Mohamud and Milton were so kind and accommodating to our guests. We brought in Sammy's Sweet Cupcakes which avoided the 5 per person cake cutting fee and loved each flavor. Sydney, Sarah and Scott were awesome with all our details and set ups along with communicating and updates that occurred. My husband and I were very chill and very organized during the planning process as I know the Sales team juggle so many events at Windows. It was the best day ever and thank the events team for making so many details come to life and allowing us to be carefree and enjoy our day! -Nate and Kat P.s. Our Vendors were AMAZING too!! We had our September wedding aboard the Magnolia Blossom. Captain Dan and his crew were absolutely amazing to work with and went above and beyond. Tamara even helped me bustle my dress when we couldn't figure out how to do it. There are lots of areas for photos, on the river, the dock, in the marina, and at the park, just a short walk from the Marina. We had a lot of compliments from our guests on how unique our wedding was, oh, and the food was amazing as well! I would 100% recommend Magnolia Blossom Cruises to any couple looking for a riverboat cruise wedding!

The staff went above and beyond to ensure it felt like our home for the day. The venue itself is truly a magical space - it feels like stepping into a fairytale, from the stunning murals and chandeliers to the intricate woodwork.
