Why did I become a pastry chef? Thanks to my grandmother and her ability to be stylish, my vision of beauty in simple things and creating my own individual style was formed. I can still see the drawing table with sheets of paper with drawings of various mechanisms and building plans (she was a designer). She was also a great baker. I couldn't read or write yet, but I had a wooden rolling pin and a blackboard made especially for me. As a reminder of her, I keep my grandmother's recipe books (1978). These old, time-worn pages keep her warmth. The only thing we didn't agree on was chemistry! Grandma didn't like it, and I became a chemist.

Aloha and welcome! I’m Jennifer, the baker behind Little Ms. Hula’s Bakery. Although I’ve been baking for as long as I can remember, my career path ended up being a dedication to technology. When a disability forced me off my career path in 2021, I knew I had to dedicate the remaining use of my limbs to my lifelong passion for baking.

We are a team of 2 women with the cutest cart in tow, bringing you organic, all-natural, vegan cotton candy with the cutest aesthetic, totally customizable to your special event! We use organic and vegan flavors, all-natural coloring, and organic cane sugar to make our cotton candy. We also offer party favors in the cutest little cups, complete with custom labels to make each and every detail truly yours.

We began as a concession company providing cotton candy at sporting events. In the fall of 2021, we extended our brand by starting our own manufacturing plant. Sweet Buckets was born as an option for customers and businesses to purchase Cotton Candy and Gourmet popcorns direct from our company.

From the days of hiding under the counter while my dad decorated cakes at Flamingo’s Restaurant, to planning my children’s party favors today, I have always had a love for baking. Now I can share that love with all of you through Christy’s Cookie Treats! I am so proud of my journey! There has been so much trial and error, so many times where I thought this wasn’t for me, but I pushed through! I still have so much to learn and am so eager to better my craft and hone my skills as a cookie!
