When planning my wedding the photographer was the most critical to me -I was picky. When I saw his work he turned my entire way of looking at my wedding around. Richard and I had over an hour-long conversation and we clicked. I, having a creative director background and working with photographers all my career, was thrilled because we spoke the same language. I wanted honest, documentary-style moments captured without noticing the presence of the photographer. He was there when you needed him and you liked him. Angelica and her second shooter were both incredible start to finish. Great at going with the flow but also making sure to get those photos that I had on my shot list (no matter how hard everyone was making that haha!) She had the best energy that helped me not feel nervous at all and honestly empowered from the start. She got so many amazing details that we are literally having a viewing party with all of our local guests because we just cannot choose which photos to post. I chose her because her photos and galleries all looked so different but one common theme was everyone looked like they were 1. having fun and 2. being themselves. Personally posed photos aren't for me. So when I saw her galleries I knew I wanted her above all other photographers. “Where do we begin! Nina and Will at Film and Frond helped ensure our NYC elopement went perfectly to plan, and we can’t thank them both enough for everything! Our photos are incredible and we will treasure them forever as perfect keepsakes of our special day in NYC. As we were travelling to NYC from overseas (Scotland) we were nervous about the logistics and the risk of the weather changing. In our two Zoom calls prior to our trip, Nina was so reassuring and we made sure to cover all bases incase of a change in schedule or rain. On the day of the elopement, Nina and Will met us early in the morning at our hotel, and were the perfect companions for us venturing round NYC for photos before our City Hall Ceremony. They are both the sweetest, most authentic people and there was zero awkwardness. Both my husband and I were a little nervous about being in the front of the camera, but with Nina’s help we forgot we were being photographed at all and simply enjoyed the day. We love the photos which have been delivered, such a beautiful variety of shots in Dumbo, at Brooklyn Bridge, City Hall and in Soho. Opening our full gallery was like being back in New York, and took us right back to the magic of the day.
