Howard County Recreation and Park guidelines apply that are different from privately owned venues. The Park provides the location and property amenities while the Permit Holder provides all vendors, including an approved full-service Caterer and Wedding Coordinator.

Worsell Manor has an incredible history and a new life thanks to the loving restoration by its current owners. The estate was granted in 1683 and was a favored stopping ground for George Washington who enjoyed the parties thrown at this elegant and intimate property still nestled in natural woodlands and ag preserved lands.

The Cloisters Castle, located just outside of Baltimore, MD, reflects the beauty and grandeur of medieval Europe! The Cloisters is a historic home designed to look like a European castle, featuring delicately carved wood, exquisitely detailed stained glass, and ornately designed wrought iron, much of which was sourced from European castles. There are multiple indoor and outdoor locations for your ceremony and reception. Several movies have been filmed here, including Cry Baby with Johnny Depp, and Will Smith and Jada Pinkett were married here on New Years' Eve in 1997!

The historic Liriodendron mansion, built in 1898, was the summer residence of Dr. Howard A. Kelly, one of the four founding physicians of Johns Hopkins Hospital. Rockfield Manor is a Non- Profit Venue all proceeds go back into maintaining the estate gardens, grounds and 104 year old manor. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1990, our meeting house was constructed in 1930 during the administration of the Quaker president, Herbert Hoover. It was built to serve as a house of worship and a gathering place for those wanting to “seek peace and pursue it.” The building was enlarged in 1950. In 1970, we acquired the red brick Quaker House, Carriage House and garden at 2121 Decatur Place NW. Built in the 1920s and also on the National Register, these buildings today house a number of nonprofit organizations and small businesses as well as additional event spaces. With multiple interior spaces and gardens, we can accommodate events of various sizes and layouts, from 2 to 300. We host individuals, non-profit organizations, and for-profit entities. Our event rental prices are affordable, with discounts offered to non-profit organizations in alignment with our values.
