Willow Tree winery is a small boutique style winery located just north of the Twin Cities in Ham Lake, Minnesota. Established in 2003 by Jim and Barb Szurek, what started out as a retirement hobby soon became a family business. Jim and Barb operate the winery with help from their son and his family as well as many friends who have pitched in along the way.

The Hollywood Theater is an iconic Art Deco landmark in Northeast Minneapolis. When it opened in 1936, the theater was described as “the incomparable showcase of the Northwest’’. After years of decline, the theater closed in 1987 and was purchased by the city of Minneapolis. Twenty-five years of inaction and neglect followed until 2014 when the National Park Service recognized the building’s historical significance and listed it on the National Register of Historic Places. In 2015 the theater was sold to Northeast-resident and entrepreneur Andrew Volna, who saved the building and restored its original Art Deco splendor. Today it is ready to host your event.

The Minneapolis Sculpture Garden is better than ever! This crown jewel of the city’s park system unites two of Minnesota’s most cherished resources—its parks and its cultural life. The park was originally named Douglas Triangle for the street on which it is located. The name was officially changed to Mt. Curve Triangles (plural), on November 4, 1925, when the previous Mt. Curve Triangle was renamed Fremont Triangle. The park was officially named in honor of Thomas Lowry in 1984. Lowry is best known for developing the street railway system in Minneapolis. The Lowry Hill neighborhood, in which the park is located, was named because he owned most of the land and built his imposing mansion on the hill.

The Peace Garden features hardy alpine plants and dwarf conifers and begins blooming in mid-April. The Annual/Perennial peaks in mid-June and the Rose Garden typically begins blooming in mid-June and lasts until early October. Butterflies and hummingbirds can be seen throughout the summer. The history. The charm. Set in the beautiful rolling hills of the Historic German Settlement neighbourhood in the countryside of Hudson, WI, just minutes from the Twin Cities. The barn and farm were established by settlers back in the 1850s. The property has been lovingly restored and maintained by Michael and Evonne Ganz for over 25 years now.
