My love for photography started when I was in high school. I became the school yearbook and newspaper photographer the end of my sophomore year until I graduated. For me, the ending of that journey was the saddest thing about my graduation. I was told being a photographer wouldn’t gain me a living, and I should aspire for something higher. I listened to other people instead of following my heart. It wasn’t until after my father passed away, I realized what I should have done. Now I am trying to regain my dream, and prove to myself and others that you can achieve anything your heart truly desires, regardless of what others may say.

I've been behind the camera professionally for about 6 years now, but have always had a love for taking photos. It's been a hobby of mine for as long as I can remember. There's something so intriguing to me in being able to capture someone's most special memories -- especially the intimate, candid moments between two lovers. Along with being the girl behind the camera, I am also a wife to an incredibly supportive husband who assists me in filming + a mama to a beautiful, adventurous baby girl! It was never my intention to become a photographer. I more or less fell into it. When I first married, I had a friend who was a professional photographer. She often wanted company on her shoots and on long wedding days. I soaked up every minute of it. Gaining knowledge here and there with, still, no intention of becoming a photographer.
