Our wedding was almost an awful day. Over half of our guests left due to bad weather and simply because they didn’t want to stay after getting their cupcake . It was very frustrating and it changed a lot of our plans. We ended up moving indoors and ending everything early. DeeDee was amazing enough to help us change our send off by letting us use her bubble machine and wands ON THE SPOT. We were so grateful for her flexibility on our day. 10/10 recommend this venue!!

Immediately after our initial tour of Terra Valley Farms, my spouse and I knew that this venue was perfect for us! It has a charming and secluded feeling to the area, despite being a little over an hour from Seattle. What undoubtedly sold it for us were the services offered with all wedding packages. This included an array of decor available for the day; linen, tables, chairs, and set up/tear down included; and plenty of opportunities for planning and coordination meetings well in advance of the event. Tessa, the staff member we were in primary contact with was very responsive in the time leading up to our date and willing to answer all questions. She was helpful with the overarching prep details and planning related to the venue flow that allowed for a flawless wedding day! I did see that starting early 2025, the venue is increasing their prices - likely to remain competitive in this wedding market. Quite honestly, I think this venue would unfortunately be out of our budget due to this if we were looking right now. Knowing how perfect our special day was, however, if you can afford it, it was well worth the investment for a lower key, yet stunning wedding venue. It is definitely a hidden gem, and we are so happy with our choice! [Included photos by Cessna Kutz Photography]

On our beautiful clear days, you can view the tips of Mount Stickney along with Spire Mountain, Gunn Peak, Merchant Peak, Baring Mountain, Mount Persis, and Mount Index. “The View” is located 44 miles north of SeaTac International Airport, surrounded right in the middle of all local breweries, tasting rooms, spas, golfing, or hotels, for any and all of your needs to make your special day absolutely perfect for you and your guests.

Why you'll love this venue

  • Private area for the wedding party
  • Both indoor and outdoor options
  • Romantic vineyard setting

Venue considerations

  • No on-premises lodging options
  • Not wheelchair accessible
  • On-site parking not available
The View not only met our expectations for a wedding venue, but exceeded them. Having so many family member travel from all over the country, we wanted a venue that showcased just how beautiful our home state is which made The View the perfect fit. It has the absolute most beautiful mountain and evergreen backdrop of any of the venues we had looked at, making the whole experience feel infinitely more special. On top of just how gorgeous it is, I can't say enough about how amazing the owners are. At times, I felt so lost and overwhelmed in the wedding planning process as there is so much to consider and coordinate. Not only are the owners super welcoming and accommodating but they have a wedding planning background which helped immensely when it came to making careful decisions and making the whole vision come together. I cant recommend this venue enough as it was hands down the best decision we made when planning our special day!

We hosted our wedding celebration at Parties on the Terrace this past September and it was the perfect venue for us! We wanted to find somewhere that we could leverage a more laid-back atmosphere and lean in on the natural features the venue provided. Patti was easy and great to work with on all the details. Very easy to get a hold of prior to and post the event. The inclusion of some items other venues would ask you to pay for made it affordable in the realm of venues (included shuttles from offsite parking, tables, chairs, cafe lights, etc) The venue was in bloom, and it felt like you were in a secret garden, couldn't have asked for a better day!

We loved working with the team at HGI Redmond for our wedding welcome party and farewell brunch. April was incredible to work with from day one - she helped us organize two events in two different spaces that both exceeded our expectations in every way. The welcome party was in the HGI's banquet event space, which is an indoor/outdoor space that includes a patio with fireplaces and heaters. We used the indoor space for dinner, and the outdoor space for drinks and pictures. The patio was the star of the show since it was a nice summer evening. They also have an AV setup for you to play music, a projector for slideshows, and microphones for speeches. Elliott, the event manager, did an incredible job wrangling all of the event needs and making sure everything ran smoothly, and some of the event staff even helped us iron the table linens and bring our floral centerpieces back up to our hotel room after the event. The farewell brunch was in the downstairs library area, which was such a cute and cozy space for our guests to say goodbye in. Both events had excellent food - the HGI's in-house catering was amazing, they were able to accommodate guests with dietary restrictions (vegan, gluten free), and were extremely flexible in handling all our requests and needs. Overall, the staff, food, and event spaces were all amazing and we're so glad we went with HGI Redmond for our wedding events!

Song river was an EXCEPTIONAL choice of Venue. This is exactly what you are looking for and so much more. Large space, full customization, beautiful decor, friendly service. We booked Song River for our wedding reception and Quyen (the owner) was so helpful from the very beginning. Im an overwhelmed bride, and only child with no siblings, and my mother has Dementia so i was doing it all alone. I never had my wedding planned from a young age so I was completely lost and scared where to begin and wanted something easy. Quyen was there to guide me and literally wipe the tears from my face (I got overwhelmed and cried). We booked the space from 11am to 11pm and Quyen sent over an amazing detailed guide to help plan my wedding and reception. I chose one of her pre-selected decorations options and it turned out so beautiful. I believe the package was called "the silk" i cant recall but it was worth it. All lights and decorations are fully customizable and we chose to go with white table linens/chairs and blue/purple lights. Vendors were a BREEZE, as she let's you bring anyone so long as they are licensed and insured. But dont stress because Quyen has a list of vendors she has worked with that know the space, we ended up choosing one from that list for food and bar and purchased the beer/wine to save some . Venues are expensive but Song River is very affordable in today's market, and honestly worth so much more with how beautiful, large, and customizable the space is. Quyen is professional, kind, and knowledgeable, you will want her on your team and you will want to book this space. 10/10 amazing experience and memorable reception!

Why you'll love this venue

  • Rustic-chic setting
  • Venue is completely outdoors
  • Bridal suite on site

Venue considerations

  • Large venue, not ideal for small guest lists
  • Not wheelchair accessible
  • Not for you if you prefer a more modern aesthetic
Falling Water Gardens is a hidden gem located in Monroe. Not only is the location beautiful, but you also have various spaces to use for your ceremony and reception. There is tons of flexibility and a lot of options. Rick, Ken, and Liz were easy to work with, and always responded to our messages clearly and within a reasonable time frame. My husband and I only looked a handful of venues, and when I saw this one, I knew place was perfect for us. I didn't feel like I could justify the cost of a florist, and if you get married here, you don't need one. The flowers and trees in the event space are enough! Not only does Falling Water Gardens offer flexibility and different options for your ceremony and reception, but they also allow you to come check out the space while you are going through your planning. My husband and I went back to the space a few times while we were planning to get a visual for where our decor would be setup, where the bar would go, the DJ, etc. And if you give the venue a heads up that you are coming, someone will greet you and will answer any questions you may have. Some venues don't offer a lot in terms of setup, but Falling Water Gardens has 200 chairs and plenty of tables for you to use, and they will set all of that up for you. We did our decor on our own, but having the tables and chairs ready in the spaces was a huge help. They also have a large tent for the tables and chairs, and smaller easy up tents for your vendors. We had a bit of an issue with one of our photographers, and did not feel like we had adequate time to take photos as a couple. Because of this, my husband and I wanted to take more photos. When I contacted Liz to ask if we could return to the venue to take more photos, she said yes. Getting a chance to take more photos/re-do some photos made the experience that much better for us. Again, the flexibility, kindness, various options, and beautiful space are all here. Falling Water Gardens was there for us every step of the way, and they made sure our day was everything we wanted. I could not have asked for more when I found this venue.

One of the BEST choices we made for our wedding! Sammie at Fall City Farms was incredible to work with- responsive, flexible, and accommodating. The space was private, peaceful, and beautiful. Gorgeous photo opportunities with the trees, bridge, and lodge background. Great getting ready spaces. We loved that we could spend the night of the wedding at the lodge (we had our getaway car drive us around the block and in through the back entrance where no guests could see us- highly recommend!) The grass in the ceremony & reception area was green in August and everything about the space was well maintained. We loved that we could use any vendors we want, but did go with some of their recommended vendors (who were fantastic). We HIGHLY recommend The Lodge at Fall City Farms!

Being in the events industry for over 24 years in the Seattle area, the UW Botanic Gardens was one of the first venues our company worked at and is still the best overall facility we partner with today! The communication and flexibility make the UWBG the most well rounded venue with its indoor and outdoor options, ample parking, supplies available on site and most importantly the kind staff that work there from in the office to the folks who are on site during the events assisting as needed. As a catering company it is refreshing that the UWBG is run by gracious people that have been well trained enough to understand their clients needs as well as what it takes to run an amazing event balancing everything from client & vendor needs, flow of an event, layout... they just get it! They make things easier for everyone, and both corporate and social clients should be very grateful that this centrally located space is available. It is a rare combination from my experience to excel in so many areas of the event industry all wrapped in one awesome venue.
