We moved from Peachtree City, Georgia to this breathtaking countryside estate in Newnan, Georgia in July 2016 with the sole intent of opening a wedding and special events venue. When we found this little gem, we realized we wanted to share the beautiful property with others and help our guests create unforgettable memories for their friends and family at Murphy Lane. The Estate at Elegant Occasions offers a southern wedding destination, historic mansion, climate-controlled barn, multiple outdoor ceremony sites, vineyard and waterfall for your wedding day. Couples will enjoy a private bride and groom's suite and full use of the estate.

Mathews Manor was built in 1930 and first opened as the Forks Inn Restaurant. It then became a private residence and was purchased by the current owners Debbie & Harold Mathews in 1999. After some remodeling, Rebecca Gardens first opened in 2001 for weddings and special events. Grace Hall was built and opened in 2003 to fulfill the desire to offer space for larger weddings & events. Across the street, Micah's Meadow held its' first wedding in 2009 and offers a peaceful outdoor setting for your ceremony.
