Merinda Starnes has performed as a solo, orchestra, and ensemble musician since 2007. She received her degree in harp performance from the University of Utah studying under Dr. Cathy Clayton. During her college career, she performed with the University of Utah and University of Arizona’s Wind Ensemble and Philharmonic as their principal harpist. ​Her solo performing career started at the age of 9 and since then, she has played in over 100 weddings and events.

I’ve been a full-time entertainer for over a decade. I started as an emcee for my college campus events, got a job at the school radio station, did two radio internships with Riverbend Communications in Idaho Falls and KSL in Salt Lake City. I built a career as an on-air radio host on stations like Z103 in East Idaho and Wild 101 in Boise. As more and more people requested me to DJ their weddings, I decided to fully invest in the mobile DJ side of my business and here we are. I work year-round honing my skills as one of Idaho's top mobile DJs.

Alex Lardie received his B.M. degrees in Music Education and Saxophone Performance from the University of Idaho in 2020 and was a regular performer and award-winner at the Lionel Hampton Jazz Festival. Throughout his performing career, Alex has performed with many jazz artists including Bruce Forman, Carl Saunders, Scott Whitfield, Dominick Farinacci, Marcus Printup, and the New York Voices. Alex has experience performing with Carnival Cruise Lines, composing, and teaching music in public schools. He is an active musician on the Palouse, has released a self-written album titled Peach Waltz, and records funk fusion with No Soap, Radio.

The Proper Way began when multi-instrumentalist singer-songwriters Shane Osguthorpe and Scott Rogers met while playing a local festival. They established themselves as The Proper Way in 2016, when a promoter invited them to come for a series of shows in Lake Tahoe. After touring nonstop for two years, the band joined forces with friend and fellow singer-songwriter Carrie Myers to release Ain't No Good Thing Ever Dies, a collection of songs by Bob Dylan and Tom Waits, in 2018. The musical connection with Myers was so obvious, and they had so much fun performing and recording as a trio, that Myers joined the band shortly afterwards.
