The original home, built in 1934, was added on in 2006, is the perfect blend of farmhouse design & natural elegance. The original coal-burning double-sided fireplace stands in the center of the room, with the original well in the kitchen. 160-year old barn beams were converted into fireplace mantels. The main reception wall has 120-year old reclaimed hardwood on both sides of the fireplace. The Venue is a perfect setting for Rehearsal Dinners, Wedding Receptions, Corporate Events, Baby Showers & Reunions. Wimpy Farms is a family farm venue located in the beautiful north Georgia mountains of Dahlonega Georgia. The farm consists of over 100 acres of beautiful streams, ponds, large hardwoods, and gorgeous fenced pastures. One of the main focal points is our Old Covered Bridge which has been a wedding site for many sweet couples over the years. We have enjoyed letting people get married, do photo shoots, and host events on our farm for years and decided that it was finally time to incorporate this fun aspect of our lives into the rest of our family businesses! Originally known for our romantic honeymoon cabins, we have quickly become a popular destination for group retreats, corporate events, weddings, and receptions.

Agape is Greek for love, reflecting this venue’s commitment to creating a romantic and atmospheric location to celebrate timeless love stories. Large or intimate ceremonies can be held anywhere on the lawns, inside the barn, at the pavilion, or the gazebo overlooking the pond. Inside the barn couples will find a spacious design for dinner, dancing and celebrating. The elegant 2-story barn has a bar & lounge with leather sofas, a wrap-around deck on the top floor, and glittering chandeliers. Outside, the covered pavilion makes for an excellent site to hold receptions during the warm summer months, or even on a crisp autumn evening.
