The most beautiful & well kept wedding venue with a great team that made our wedding so special & perfect! The owner Amy is there for any and everything you may need. Sondra made sure our food was exceptional & everything flowed perfectly. Missy & Sandy ensured that the entire experience was wonderful & that every detail was taken care of. I did the all inclusive package & I had no worries that every little thing would be taken care of with this venue & wonderful crew. They made all our dreams come true ensuring that our day was everything we asked for & more! I am forever thankful for them & this venue will always be special to us. The Tucker Homestead is a beautiful historic home with history and elegance dating back to 1910. The setting is on a large farm that is surrounded by rolling hills and knob land. From the house, to the beautiful log cabin located adjacent to the house, large mature trees, landscaped grounds, the spacious patio with a fireplace makes a perfect setting and backdrop for your special day. An additional house is provided for the bride and her bridesmaids to have their hair and makeup done. The bride then comes to the Homestead house to get into her dress for first looks and photos. The groomsmen have a beautiful Log cabin to get ready in and await the time. There are different packages to accommodate your wedding guest list. Caron Tucker, the owner is on the grounds at all times to make sure your day is stress free and to make sure everything goes smoothly. Come and take a tour of our venue to capture what your special day will look like.

Silent Grove was the perfect venue for our wedding! From the moment we first reached out, the owners were great at communicating with us via phone and text, always responsive and eager to help. The venue itself is absolutely beautiful, both inside and out, and the owners worked closely with us to make our day perfect. They provided excellent recommendations for vendors and had plenty of helpful ideas for our ceremony and reception. Our ceremony and reception at Silent Grove were truly amazing, and we couldn't have asked for a better experience. We are so grateful to the owners for all of their hard work in making our wedding day unforgettable!

Crump Family Farm was established as its own entity as a farm in 1876. This wooded sanctuary would eventually be purchased by Jeff and Bessie Crump. This dutiful family consisting of Jeff, Bessie, and their 6 children, farmed the land for over 36 years. The full practice of raising and processing tobacco, cultivating large vegetable gardens, and sustaining, and controlling livestock was all normal routine in providing for a family of that era.
