“I had a good experience with this company for the most part. They were priced reasonably in comparison to other vendors I researched. There were several times where the communication was a bit vague and the payment experience was not very clear. The online portal used for payment was not working when I was trying to place the deposit. When I finally was able to get the portal to work, it charged me the full amount, which was unexpected. Upon reaching out immediately to the wedding coordinator at Eivan's, I was ghosted. I reached out to the accounting department and they responded with a generic response telling me they cannot guarantee the refund and paying it over time would cost more. I opted to just leave it alone for my own sanity. I reviewed the day of the wedding with my photographer only and our expectations. I received no contact from the videographer. They were plenty friendly the day of the wedding and handled a lot of the very demanding family members well. Both showed up dressed very casually, which was not my favorite, especially since they both made it into portions of my video. I also learned later that despite buying them 150 plated meals they were allowed to asked for payment for tolls and parking. I realize now it was in the fine print, so please make sure you very carefully read contracts prior to signing them. I am not upset by the experience, but I understand why this company was cheaper than others. If others asked for a recommendation, I would not turn them away from Eivan's, but if you are on a budget and have your expectations set accordingly, they will get the job done.”
