We got married at Mountainville Manor yesterday and it couldn’t have gone better. Lauren and James flawlessly executed our many many requests, accommodated our food allergies, and made sure that everything ran smoothly so that I, the bride, could (finally) relax. We used two of their recommended vendors: Gillian the florist and Matthew Lask the DJ and they were both fantastic. If you get married here, my one piece of advice is to listen to Mary when she reminds you to eat, otherwise you will miss the delicious food! We couldn’t be happier with our experience.

This venue is absolutely beautiful. We recently had an event here and from the first second we walked through the door until the end of the party every single part of our experience was FIRST CLASS. Incredibly stunning ballroom, gorgeous jaw-dropping property, and a world class team led by Farrell who did an unbelievable job in all facets of the event. Iris was with us from our first tour through the wedding day — always available, supportive, and genuinely invested in making our day perfect. My guests were in awe walking into this venue! It is absolutely breathtaking both inside and out. Our ceremony was in the garden and everyone raved about the innate beauty. The staff went fully above and beyond to make sure we had an incredibly special day. The food for cocktail hour and dinner was complimented non stop! I also was told service was impeccable and guests never waited for any drinks! If there were any hiccups on the day I (the bride) was never made aware because the Meadow Wood team took care of everything. If I had to do it all over, this is 100% the first thing I’d book! It truly was a day I’ll never forget because of this venue and team

Throughout time the house was purchased to the Kean family where they resided until the last resident passed away in 1995. Our 23 acres grounds are full of beautiful gardens. Dreams really do come true at the Tides!The best thing you can do is book your wedding there. From the day we booked and leading up to our big day Michael was very forthcoming and helpful. He was very responsive, followed up on all my questions and made sure we felt supported. The venue itself looks out of a fairytale. They are in a rural location so the greenery as you drive up is beautiful. The inside looks akin to a palace with many rooms and a beautiful lobby.  You don't even have to decorate too much because the place itself is so elegant and classy. The garden is soooo breathtaking. They have 2 ceremony spaces outside, beautiful flowers and greenery. Plus it's so big! You get a lot of bang for your buck. I didn't hire a day of coordinator and I basically planned everything myself with the bridal party, but the Maitre D and venue staff were very instrumental in making sure our event ran smoothly. I was super nervous thinking about the day of. I planned everything out but couldn't leave my seat because hello, I'm the bride lol. I was getting ready all morning.  But thanks to our Maitre D Alberto, the event flower perfectly. He kept us on time. Helped get the bridal party together. He literally went above and beyond. It's so incredible just thinking back to it. I know some venues are hands off. But the staff was just so dedicated to making our every request happen if possible. Thanks to Alberto, our wedding day went by beautifully without any hitch or drama. It's unbelievable because I heard there is always some kind of issue the day of. We paid for a 6am opening so me and my bridesmaids could get ready at the venue. Michael set up a wonderful breakfast in the bridal suite it was like being home! We were so comfortable and we're ready on time for our 11am start. Truly wonderful. We had the small bridal suite so to our small party but it was super nice and a great set up for getting ready! The food and the drinks were to die for. First of all, the cocktail hour was loaded with so much food! Not only do they include a variety of delicious hor'devours. You get to choose from from different entrees and stations. The guest are still raving about it a month later! Everything was excellent. From the presentation to the quality of the meals, it was the best wedding food I've ever had. When the reception came all the guests were too stuffed for their reception entrees! My cake came from David's Custom Cakes, their partner. I got the dulce de leche filling and let me tell you it was so rich! I'm definitely coming back the next time I need a cake! Honestly I am a happy bride. I have no regrets, in fact it was even better than I imagined! Don't hesitate to book them, you will not regret it!

We knew we wanted to get married at a NJ venue that had character, and from the moment we walked into Felina, we were set! Working with Carissa and her team was fantastic from start to finish. They know how to execute a great event, where to provide flexibility, and how to coach couples through the planning process. Carissa recommended a florist who knew the venue, which was also super helpful. The team was responsive to our needs and questions throughout the planning process. We had an amazing weekend and event at Felina. From the moment we arrived in the bridal suite, the team was extremely attentive, thoughtful, and organized. The food was awesome (get the short ribs!), and we had such an memorable and fantastic night. Our photos are gorgeous!!! Highly recommend Felina for your wedding!!!

We had our wedding at The Palace at Somerset Park on August 16, 2025, and it was truly a dream come true! The planning process was seamless thanks to our amazing planner, Antonia, who was always responsive, organized, and so helpful every step of the way. On the day of, David, our maitre d’ was phenomenal making sure every detail was in place and that the entire day flowed smoothly without any issues. He made me feel at ease the entire day. A special shoutout to Valencia, my bridal attendant, who was genuinely the sweetest and most attentive person. She was by my side the entire time, making sure I had everything I needed and helping me feel calm and cared for throughout the day. The cocktail hour was incredible. Our guests are still raving about the food and drinks! The entire staff was professional, warm, and went above and beyond to make sure our day was perfect. David’s Country Inn exceeded our expectations from beginning to end! After visiting multiple venues, the moment we stepped inside, we were captivated by its charm and knew it was the perfect choice for us. Opting for a Thursday wedding turned out to be a fantastic decision! On our special day, the staff was exceptional, the food was delicious and served promptly, and the cocktail hour was filled with all our selected dishes, while the bar staff efficiently managed the crowd. They also have a fantastic selection of preferred vendors! Our event coordinator, Kristian, along with Maitre'Ds Brenda and Brandon, were simply outstanding! I had my wedding on 9/26/25 and the venue looked so beautiful! Even better than when I toured it back in November. Carmela and Mona were so helpful and accommodating during the planning process. There were so many last minute changes and hiccups like transportation vendors falling through, but Carmela was able to help me book last minute transportation that was even bigger than I was expecting! Everything went so much better than I imagined and all the guests were so impressed with the venue and food! Evette (I hope I’m spelling her name right) was my bridal attendant the day of. She was fantastic, made sure I was no longer on my phone, helped with transportation throughout the venue and kept me calm during the ceremony. Every step of the way during the planning process was organized, easy, and most importantly, FUN, all thanks to the team's creativity, hospitality, and kindness. Crossed Keys acted as true partners that delivered on every sense of the vision. In florist Jess & team are phenomenal, as was the food during cocktail hour & dinner. The service was absolutely fantastic - we did not hire a wedding planner and had no trouble working with the venue directly to coordinate ourselves. Wish we could do it all over again!!!!

From start to finish the Ryland was exceptional. Not just on the day of the wedding, from the first tour, to signing, tasting, final meetings, the day before/set up, the day of, the day after, and COUNTLESS emails, they were professional, helpful, respectful, and willing to make the day exactly what we envisioned it to be. The entire staff, especially Sam made the process worth it. I would recommend anything to celebrate their special day at the Ryland. Our experience with CBH was nothing short of perfect! We had a small 54-person cocktail hour and reception, both in the Othmer Library, and we could not have dreamed of a more perfect space. The overall atmosphere of the library was incredible, and we leaned hard into the old-world feel of the space. Our guests were in awe when they walked in, and the fact that we were able to be involved every step of the way made it so special. CBH works exclusively with Purslane as their caterer, and all communication was done through Purslane, who are also amazing and make fabulous food. (We had many raving guests.) They also help arrange all the rentals, create the run of show, and ensure the night is running along as planned, which it did! A few things we weren't expecting: - The library itself is on the smaller side, so if you want to have dinner and dancing there, you're looking at 60 people tops. This worked out fine for us with plenty of room for a dance floor, but we did have to significantly cut our guest list. - Since the building is a historical landmark, no food or drink that could stain (red sauce, red wine, coffee, etc.) was allowed. This never bothered us, and none of our guests even noticed since we had a fully stocked bar and incredibly delicious food. - We were required to hire a professional day-of coordinator. This was not part of our budget, so be prepared if it's not in yours either. We ended up working with Mostest since they were the least expensive service we could find, and they were amazing. It turned out to be so useful to have our DOC there, so we're happy this rule was imposed, as it led to a seamless night! - The library set up a new exhibit a few weeks before our wedding in the Fransioli Gallery where we were to have our cocktail hour, and we did not know what it would constitute until a few weeks out. We ended up deciding the contents of the exhibit weren't very well suited to a wedding, and CBH/Purslane were incredibly accommodating, offering to put up pipe and drape or move the cocktail hour. We chose to move it to be in the Othmer and were so happy with that decision. Overall, CBH is a 10/10! Our wedding felt like a dream, and anything we had to sacrifice was far outweighed by the stunning space. We would highly recommend CBH as a venue if you're looking for a more intimate night with immaculate vibes!

The Italian Academy for Advanced Studies is a fellowship program for post-doctoral scholars, who work in offices on the fourth and fifth floors of Columbia University's Casa Italiana building, the Academy's home on the main Morningside campus. (We also produce a variety of prestigious public events.) The building is located on Amsterdam Avenue just south of 118th Street. Wedding celebrations are most often in the Teatro, the 2nd-floor 2000-sq-foot ballroom with an adjacent outdoor terrace. We give several options for superb full-service caterers who consistently provide excellent food and service at fair prices. The Italian Academy provides a Public Safety guard, custodial cleaner, optional chairs and AV equipment, and a house manager to assist with making your planning easy and pleasant.
