This lush landscape serves to enhance a couple’s wedding theme and is complete with a refurbished courtyard and barn. The Brothers Ranch has multiple ceremony and reception areas to choose from, both inside and out. In addition, there is a bar, full kitchen, and designated dressing rooms, along with the sensory-indulging gardens. Up to 400 people can gather at this venue. Soon-to-be-weds can choose their own caterer to be approved by the ranch, allowing the pair to customize their day to their tastes and preferences. Parking is available, with overflow as well. There is only one event planned per day, and the couple has the day before and after the event for setting and cleaning up. The staff is eager to help couples achieve the wedding day they have always wanted!

Why you'll love this venue

  • Has a dance floor for celebration
  • Unique barn setting
  • Both indoor and outdoor options

Venue considerations

  • No all-inclusive dining options
  • Large venue, not ideal for small guest lists
  • Couple must handle cleanup and setup
Seriously the hottest up-and-coming venue in the entire Monterey Bay area - where the beautiful and unique grounds are only the surface! Every aspect of the venue has been carefully thought out to accommodate the wedding party, guests, and vendors perfectly. The tropical foliage of the ceremony lawn offered a stunning backdrop for our vows (plus the sweet scent that wafts from nearby strawberry fields). The reception area was the perfect size and layout for our guests to eat, drink, play games, and dance throughout the night - cozy but spacious at the same time. Brothers Ranch was so beautiful and so well designed that we really didn’t need many of our own decorations. Also a huge plus for us was having access to the space for the entire weekend (Friday-Sunday) so we had plenty of time for setup and we didn’t have to worry about cleanup at the end of our wedding night! But the true heart of this venue is Jessie and Jonathan Brothers. More gracious hosts than venue owners, they helped us every step of the way to have an amazing and stress-free wedding. They both went above and beyond running around the whole weekend handling all of the little details to provide a seamless experience for us and our guests, from giving golf cart rides between the reception and ceremony spaces to rolling out heaters after sundown. So a big thank you to Jessie and Jonathan and definitely book Brother Ranch - the best venue in all of Monterey Bay for an amazing, beautiful, stress-free, and super fun wedding!

Saratoga springs is a breathtaking venue. I absolutely loved my space. The staff are caring, communicative, detailed and super easy to work with. We used the Redwood Grove space. It is secluded and intimate. Beautifully covered in trees. The space is amazing and green and so earthy. The staff sets up your space and pulls down your space (if hired). They pay amazing attention to detail and were eager to ensure that my space was everything I wanted. The only issue I have is the short amount of time you are allotted to be on site. You cannot get ready there and you only have one hour to explore the venue and take all the pictures on site that you want. Which on a wedding day is chaotic. It would be nice to have more time to explore the space especially for the cost of renting a space. Other than the time constraints everything is organized, and amazing. The food is amazing and we for so many compliments on our food! The space overall is beautiful and is a place I would recommend to anyone with how attentive the staff are.

Our wedding was a dream and there is nothing we would have done differently. The venue, decor, and atmosphere provided by the Wedgewood team felt perfect and personal. We are especially thankful to our coordinator Katey, who made us feel welcome and taken care of. She truly went above and beyond for us and we couldn't have imagined a better person to be our coordinator. Our banquet captain, Christina, was lovely and it meant a lot that she constantly came to check on us throughout the night and made sure we had everything we needed. We also want to thank Andrea, our DJ, who helped us modify our timeline on the fly when we were running a bit late and was right on point with our music. One of the most special moments was our private dance at the very end of the night. Andrea played our song and then both she and the Wedgewood staff turned away and let us have the moment completely to ourselves. It was a moment I will never forget and I'm so thankful that we stumbled across Canopy Grove and decided to tour the venue (in fact, it was the only wedding venue we toured because we knew right away). We are eternally grateful and Canopy Grove will forever hold a special place in our hearts. Thank you!

I just got married at CRC Ranch last week and I can't say enough amazing words about this place and the team. Not only do the staff completely bring our vision to life, but made it even better than we could've imagined. Traecy and her team were a dream to work with and made planning everything stress-free and easy. They were so accommodating and a pleasure to work with. My husband and I cannot recommend CRC Ranch enough. During the whole planning process, I didn't feel like you're working with a venue you feel like you're working with family that's trying to help give you the best wedding of your dreams. Channon and Kari were both amazing. We toured in 2023, and Channon was extremely welcoming and warm. We toured on a wedding day, which was perfect because we were able to envision what our special day would look like. We toured about 7 other venues in the area and quickly realized that Oak & Ivy at Home Sweet Home was where we wanted to have our special day. Kari went through the budget with us before we hired her on, and she was extremely helpful and responsive throughout the planning process. I can't recommend her enough for planning. She planned a Taylor Swift themed Speakeasy that was AMAZING, and would highly recommend doing one if it's in the budget. Kari also did our florals- we loved them! Kari and Channon were great at communicating when things were due so we were able to stay on track without stressing out. We loved having our wedding day there and wouldn't change it for the world!

The high desert is a special place for us. It's a second home and it's where we truly fell in love. So it was a no-brainer to have our wedding there. Rimrock Ranch was the first venue we toured and we knew right away that it was the right place for us. The grounds and views are stunning, the cabins are charming, and the staff is like family. Gwen, Eric, Reno, and Team are incredibly kind, thoughtful, accommodating, and easy-going. They make you feel right at home and completely safe in their hands. They've done a bunch of these and it shows. They also have fantastic vendor recommendations. The bartenders, the caterers, and the audio set-up were all first-rate. We had the wedding of our dreams at Rimrock Ranch and could not recommend them more!

We just had our wedding Friday, June 13th and I am so glad we found Miller’s Landing. We booked in April of last year and after touring a couple venues and wanting the Forest/mountain vibes—this was a no brainer. Family owned—Kellan, Terri, and everyone in the staff were so unbelievably transparent, friendly, helpful, and amazing to work with. The communication is on point and everything was seamless since their packages include basically everything! Our photographer was included and we chose JLay Weddings which also led us to our videographer! Even the small amount of things not included in package pricing, they gave recommendations that were great! The property is so beautiful and so well maintained even when we toured it when it was raining and sleet coming down! The ceremony site is a dream, which flows right into the cocktail area, and then reception/dinner in the beautiful, rustic barn and everything flows perfectly. It’s small enough to where people don’t wander off and disappear or get too separated, but big enough to provide spaces and pockets for people to hang out in. Fox in the Woods Catering was absolutely delicious and the venue tasting was great—we had such a hard time deciding what to choose because it was all so good. The bridal suite did get a little warm on our 80 degree wedding day, but they have portable air conditioners that helped. We loved the table and mirrors so my bridesmaids not getting hair and makeup done could do their own there. The groom suite is a great spot for the guys and every space is so well put together and comfortable. Our day of coordinator included with the venue, Ashly, was amazing in creating our day of timeline, setting up decor and making sure our vision came to life. Family owned and operated was the way to go. We felt so special and didn’t have a single thing to worry about and we had the most perfect wedding day. We are on cloud nine and highly recommend anyone wanting a seamless wedding and less stress of planning, please book here. You will not regret it!

Venue considerations

  • Large venue, not ideal for small guest lists
  • Not for you if you prefer a more modern aesthetic
  • Lighting and sound are not included
We recently had our wedding at Suisun Valley Inn, and overall, it was a beautiful and memorable experience. One of the biggest highlights was being able to use the venue for three full days, which gave us extra time to relax and connect with our bridal party and loved ones. That extended access truly made a difference in how special the weekend felt. However, there were a few challenges that did impact our plans. The event barn, which was a key part of our original vision, was unfortunately not finished in time for our wedding. While we understand this was out of the owner’s control, we were disappointed that we were not refunded the full 2,000 deposit, especially since the change affected nearly every aspect of our day. Additionally, when we arrived, we were surprised to find the vineyard had been plowed without any prior notice. This forced another last-minute adjustment to our setup so we wouldn’t be facing a dirt lot. It would have been really helpful to have been told about that in advance. Despite these hiccups, the venue itself has so much potential and charm, and we did have a lovely wedding. I just hope some of these experiences can help future couples plan better or spark a few improvements from the venue for the future.

The Knotty Oak

5.0

Philo, CA
  • Up to 100 guests

  • Indoor & outdoor
  • Starts at $15,000

The oldest house in Philo (1888), it was Anderson Valley’s first post office and stagecoach stop that decades later was the Philo Pottery Inn. During the painstaking restoration we did using nearly all salvaged materials, its secrets and history began to resurface. We were constantly discovering little finds, over 200 1880's old glass bottles buried on the grounds to the headline clad 1915 newspaper lined walls in the main house. It’s been part remodel and archeological dig. Now it’s ready to host events & make fresh memories for decades to come. A few years ago we were lucky enough to add 20+ acres of open meadow lands & forest contiguous to TKO for events & glamping and built an amphitheater by Indian Creek in the woods. We can host up to 100 and have have 12 bedrooms in three fab houses, plus glamping tents. There are so many ways to utilize the property and also vintage trailers and wacky Japanese cars to get creative with. Come see for yourself and be part of its evolving history.

Why you'll love this venue

  • Rustic-chic setting
  • Both indoor and outdoor options
  • Multiple event spaces

Venue considerations

  • Does not provide event staff
  • Lighting and sound are not included

Mary spent so much quality time with us showing us the spaces, making us yummy cocktails, and just hanging out. I've never experienced a warmer welcome to a venue that we did with Mary. The houses are immaculate, rustic, so cozy, and the kitchen is huge. The event spaces are plentiful and the venue is so flexible with how you use them. You cannot go wrong planning your wedding here. After searching high and low, my husband and I decided on the Ranch at Stoney Creek. From the moment we stepped on the property, the beauty took our breaths away. From the pond at the entrance to the barn and grass area, to the upper area in the trees and grape vines where we had our ceremony. Michelle and Leon have the perfect property for that rustic/country wedding feel. One of the highlights I felt that made a difference was the fact that there are rooms on the property for the bridal party to stay at. Since we lived in Utah and all our friends are still in California, it was a great bonding experience to spend the weekend with them. All in all, they do a great job to keep the weekend running smooth. I would highly recommend this venue!
