As you walk into the Little Chapel in-the-Woods you are entering into a tradition. Located on the edge of Texas Woman’s University, the chapel is a secluded sanctuary that has held weddings since September 1939, a few months before its dedication by Eleanor Roosevelt. We have two beautiful ballrooms to host the wedding reception of your dreams! The Chapel attendant is present to set up the chapel for the wedding, set up the sound system and instruct your vendors on usage, and to oversee the facility. They will be happy to provide limited guidance and answer any questions you may have about the rehearsal or processional. If you desire full-scale coordination you are welcome to provide a planner or even a friend with experience to manage the flow of your wedding ceremony.

The Bell Tower Event Center is owned and operated by Teddy and Amy Gabbart. Bell Tower Event Center is located in Downtown Durant, Oklahoma, which makes it a great central location to host an event. Bell Tower was formerly known as The W – Wedding and Event Center but is historically known as the First United Methodist Church. The history of this building and its beautiful architecture make it a very unique venue for the Texoma area, and a perfect place for your next event! Built-in 1923, this 25,000 square foot historic church has three venues to choose from: The Parlor, The Chapel, and The Loft.
