“TLDR: I could not have picked a better photographer and I truly believe that Annie would be perfect for absolutely anyone. Her energy is infectious in a way that really brings up your excitement levels but also keeps your anxiety down. My husband is very introverted and was really worried about photos, but she kept him comfortable and in his element in a way I truly don’t believe anyone else would have. As for myself, I felt beautiful and gorgeous the entire time because of her and her partner. For the work she did and the amount of effort she puts into our photos, I believe her prices are incredibly fair. If anything, she’s undercutting herself. I will absolutely be recommending Annie to anyone and everyone. Now for the longer part of the review! We got married on May 30th, 2024 and we were doing our wedding a little differently. Instead of doing private vows or doing our vows at the ceremony, we did our vows at our rehearsal dinner. That is also when we allowed friends and family to come up and say something. The reason we did this route is because my husband is introverted and not a public speaker while I am the complete opposite. He also really wanted to see my walk down the aisle as our first look instead of a private look. Me, on the other hand, wanted at least our family and close friends to witness our vows. So we compromised! On top of it being two separate days, I was very adamant that I wanted two photographers along with wanting to capture the little things, such as my grandparents holding hands or our friends doing silly things at a table. I don’t mind staged photos, but I really wanted more natural focused shots. It was surprisingly difficult to find someone who was able to both days and within our price range. When we stumbled upon Annie, it felt like fate. She was so easy to figure things out with. Instead of an engagement photo session, she was happy to do our rehearsal dinner instead. She was there for any questions I had and the forms she had us fill out were super detailed! It really helped getting our thoughts together and deciding what was most important for our wedding. The day before the wedding, she vibed so well with everyone at the rehearsal dinner. She even got perfect photos of our dogs, who are honestly like our children. The day of the wedding, Annie and her second photographer (who I’ve completely blanked on the name, my fault for taking so long to write a review!) were amazing. Every single one of our friends had compliments for them and just LOVED their energy. Annie kept me calm and collected while the second was fully invested in my husband. I don’t think the wedding would have gone as smoothly without those two. The photos I received back? Better than I could ever dream of. Truly. They got beautiful shots of my grandparents dancing, my dad talking to one of his nephews, his mom talking with his brother. Just candid shots that looked real and natural. I am unbelievably so happy with Annie and the work she put in for us. Photographs are one of the most important things for me at our wedding and she truly blew it out of the park.We thank her for all her work from the bottom of our hearts and will always cherish the memories she gave us.”

“I did SO much research trying to find the right photo + video team to capture our elopement ceremony and separate reception event... I scoured wedding websites and social medias galore until we found them and fell in love with their work. We booked with Kris and Allison as one of our first vendors, (right at the beginning of all the COVID craziness) making sure that no matter what happened, we had the best team to capture everything. We wanted photos that felt “real”- natural editing, no awkwardly staged posing, and a timeless style that felt personal and unique, which could best showcase our love and who we are as a couple... We put complete trust in them, and WOW did they deliver!! After we did an engagement session with Allison and got our photos back, we were blown away! We knew our wedding gallery was going to be nothing short of epic. (Seriously, EPIC is even an understatement!) We’re definitely not “naturals,” and generally very uncomfortable in front of a camera, but she makes you feel so at ease, is patient, funny, and helpful with giving instructions to make you look and feel your best! Kris is so stealthy... so kind, super chill and easy to talk to, while sneakily capturing ALL the best shots without you ever even noticing! Our video ended up all pieced together in such a thoughtful and creative way that made us cry- watching it brings back all of the emotions so vividly! And even with our events happening on two different days, it all flowed together so flawlessly! Our photos and video felt so unique to us, and their detail and creative eye is excellent. On top of that, their personalities are just as great (I mean, I feel like having a cute married photo/video couple is just all around good wedding day vibes...), and after the reception so many guests commented on how cool and personable they were, while still being professional and never “in the way.” They fit right in at our intimate setting, and you can tell they just love “love” and their craft. To put it plainly, they really are just THAT good. Our wedding experience was enhanced x10000 because of them, and knowing that we’ll have the most beautiful photos to share for years and years is absolutely priceless. You only get one magical day, and when it’s over all you’ll have are the great memories and (hopefully, if you hire these guys) phenomenal photos + video! There are no words to describe how eternally grateful we are to have had them be a part of our “best day ever.” Or how well they were able to document all the details and moments of joy, love, and pure happiness between us and all our friends/family! I’d go on, but check out their work because it speaks for itself (seriously, I’m still obsessed with their Instagram feed after the fact!) I always knew the power of a great photo + video team, but the Silverbears are next level, 5 star, top shelf, A-Team, above and beyond, and truly remarkable. The best in the game.”

We were able to have a planning call to “meet” our lead photographer, Carly, before the wedding day. I really appreciated that so we could go over some details and feel a little bit more comfortable going into the big day (husband and I are not huge picture people). Carly and team were right on time and I can’t say enough good things about how comfortable they made us feel and how hard they worked to make sure we got every shot that we wanted. It rained on our wedding day so there were some pictures I was disappointed about not getting, but Carly got out her phone and was tracking the weather so we could take advantage of every single break in the rain – even if it was only a couple minutes! We ended up getting every picture that I wanted and I’m so grateful! We got our picture gallery back ahead of what was stated in the contract and it’s everything we hoped for. The color is exactly what we chose (we went with the “Timeless” edit. Despite the rain they managed to capture every location on the property and it looks absolutely beautiful. We had an awesome experience, and I highly recommend them. Thank you for being a part of our favorite day!”

“Rae and Chynjah have such great positive energy and attitude, and made the shoot feel like a breeze. We got great shots even though the weather was not in our favor and she was very creative with the angles. She even incorporated objects and motion in many of the shots. They are both very genuine and great at bringing out the positive energy but of people. All in all, 10/10 would definitely recommend for bridal, maternity, or event photos. For Chris and his previous modeling experience, this was by far the least tedious, most energetic, and easiest shoot that he's been apart of. Rae's communication and creativity were great. She is incredible at thinking outside of the box and coming up with great ideas on the fly. She also communicated great before and after the shoot as there were some minor challenges with scheduling.
