Hi, my name is Ian! At Urquhart Weddings, I create cinematic wedding films capturing the organic nature of a wedding day. From heartfelt moments to the little details you might not remember happening, my goal is to create a film that lets you relive the love, joy, and connection shared with your family and friends. I focus on showcasing the bond between two people in love, surrounded by their closest loved ones. What sets me apart as a wedding videographer is my unique blend of experience. With over 5 years as a touring photographer and videographer for internationally traveling artists and bands, I bring a creative, adaptive approach to filming wedding days. My background in Meteorology and love for weather (B.S., Plymouth State University 2015) fuels my appreciation for a good sunset shot (Sun Dogs are the best). Supported by a team who shares my vision, we work seamlessly to create impactful wedding films. Most importantly, a couple's happiness and satisfaction is my top priority. Egos always take a back seat.

This package includes a 10-15 minute Cinematic Wedding Film, a nostalgic flip-up handy-cam for a vintage vibe, and a documentary-style aesthetic to preserve your day in full.

Videography review
Ian was wonderful!! Prior to our wedding day, we talked through our vision and what we hoped to get out of our videography and he was so helpful in working with us to make it what we wanted. The final products are incredible, something we will rewatch and cherish for many years to come! He captured the weekend beautifully while also helping us to stay in the moment for it all.
Captured Our Day Perfectly—Rain and All!
We can’t say enough good things about Urquhart Weddings and so glad we chose them as our videographer! Ian was so easy to communicate with from start to finish and made the whole process feel effortless. On our wedding day, Ian and Taylor literally braved torrential rain and crazy wind and still managed to capture the most amazing footage. We’re so thankful to have such beautiful memories to look back on!

Wedding Video
Ian did such an incredible job on our wedding videos—we couldn’t have asked for anything better or more professionally done. From the social media clip, to the short 4-minute highlight, to every major part of the wedding being filmed, edited, and posted on a website in such an organized and easily accessible way, everything was perfect. The videos themselves were beautiful—carefully edited with his own creative touch—and we are so grateful to have them to look back on forever. Ian was easy to communicate with, open to ideas, and always quick to respond to any questions we had. On top of that, he turned everything around so quickly, delivering all the videos and clips just a few weeks after the wedding. We’re beyond happy with his work and would highly recommend him!
