Edward Lau Film

Born and raised in Hong Kong, Edward Lau’s passion for storytelling and filmmaking began at a young age. His journey into the world of cinema led him to SFSU, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in Cinema. After graduation, Edward later returned to HK, where he immersed himself in both the television and film industries. Edward has pursued his own creative projects, producing and directing several independent films. With one of his films earning an Audience Award at a local film festival—a testament to his talent and ability to connect with viewers through compelling storytelling.

For the past 17 years, Edward has also been a go-to wedding videographer, capturing over 900 weddings (and counting!). Known for his meticulous preparation, he always has backup gear for cameras and audio, ensuring that no moment—big or small—is ever missed. His laid-back yet professional demeanor allows him to bring out the best in every shoot, whether he’s documenting a couple’s special day or crafting a cinematic story. Edward’s work is a seamless blend of creativity, technical expertise, and a deep passion for storytelling, making him a versatile and reliable force in the world of filmmaking and videography.
