With in-house wine barrel tables, barstools, cocktail tables, and cozy lounge vignettes, the venue creates a warm, social layout that naturally encourages guests to connect. Conveniently located just minutes from downtown Austin, Wanderlust Wine Co. is perfect for couples who want something a little offbeat, a little bold, and completely unforgettable.

Our space offers a vibrant yet relaxed setting where every corner has been thoughtfully designed for both comfort and celebration. Included in your rental are wine barrel tables and barstools for up to 150 seated guests, plus plenty of space to mingle with cocktail tables and lounge furniture. For ceremonies, the Tasting Room and the Wine Hall accommodate up to 200 guests in a theater-style arrangement with chairs brought in from one of our trusted rental partners.

If you’re dreaming of a wedding venue that feels like stepping into a technicolor daydream, Wanderlust Wine Co. is the spot. It’s cool, colorful and quirky in all the best ways! Every time we roll up with our bar kits, it feels like we’re about to bartend inside a really fun art installation. Their team are absolute gems. They communicate, they collaborate, and they somehow manage to keep everything running smooth while keeping the vibe relaxed and joyful. We love working with all of them! And weddings there are always a blast! There’s something about the space that makes people loosen up, laugh louder, and dance a little wilder. Highly recommend for couples who want a venue with personality and a team that matches the energy. Cheers to our friends at Wanderlust! We love you!
Uniquely Austin Wedding Venue
We held our wedding at the Shady Lane Wanderlust Wine location - it was an absolute dream! From the beginning of our event planning process through the day-of our wedding, Margaret was so easy and great to work with. She was highly communicative, worked well with our vendor team, and my husband and I felt so comfortable in our collaborative partnership with Wanderlust. If you are looking for a uniquely Austin, versatile event space, we cannot recommend Wanderlust Wine Bar enough!

We couldn’t have imagined a more memorable or unique setting for our wedding than Wanderlust Wine off Shady Lane. Its central Austin location was perfect for our guests, giving everyone the chance to truly experience the city while celebrating with us. The venue itself is unlike anything else—bright, colorful artwork fills every corner, creating an incredible atmosphere and endless conversation starters. Even months later, our friends and family are still talking about how fun and vibrant the space was. Margaret, the owner and coordinator, is an absolute gem. From the moment we booked, she felt more like a friend and confidant than a vendor. She offered thoughtful recommendations and helpful suggestions throughout the planning process, yet always encouraged us to express our own vision and creativity.
