Valhalla Tahoe offers locals and visitors the opportunity to celebrate at the Heller Estate while helping preserve it. Your guests will enjoy the incredible architecture in the Grand Hall, the sprawling Grand Lawn, Historic Pier and Natural Beach. Couples often call the weddings at Valhalla magical and describe their experience at the property as like being in a fairytale. The combination of towering old-growth trees and Scandinavian architecture create the perfect background for any event.

Valhalla Tahoe

Tie the knot in Old Tahoe Style at Valhalla, the centerpiece of the Tallac Historical Site on the South Shore of beautiful Lake Tahoe.

Valhalla Grand Hall at the Heller Estate: The main lodge was built in 1924 and features hardwood floors and French doors that open onto a lodgepole pine porch. A short flight of stairs delivers guests down to the Grand Lawn where you can enjoy your meal outdoors under the towering pines. Savor cocktails while watching the sunset over the lake and head back inside to dance the night away under the twinkling market lights and antique lanterns.

From the moment we inquired about hosting our wedding at Valhalla Tahoe, their team was incredibly quick to respond, transparent about all costs and details, and went above and beyond to ensure we felt cared for throughout the entire planning process. The venue itself is truly stunning, with a charming, cozy, and completely unique vibe that perfectly matched the intimate, lakeside celebration we were envisioning. If you are looking for the most special Lake Tahoe wedding venue, Valhalla is an absolute must-see - we are so grateful we found this hidden gem and couldn't imagine getting married anywhere else!

We had a wonderful wedding day and are so grateful for Valhalla for hosting! The communication leading up to the event was excellent and everything ran smoothly. It was like a well-oiled machine even with some new hires. Everyone was very accommodating, kind and responsive. And the venue itself is just amazing. Thank you Valhalla!
