Our event spaces

Gold Ballroom

A private entrance on Harrison Street leads into the Gold Ballroom featuring warm tones, high ceilings, large windows, elegant chandeliers, a dance floor, and vintage style bar. Paired with the exclusive Gold Ballroom Garden, a beautiful sail cloth style tent and courtyard featuring a two gas fireplace and large bar. The garden is ideal for wedding ceremonies and/or cocktail receptions.

Crystal Room

Showcasing the timeless elegance of the Tidewater Inn, our newly renovated Crystal Room features a neutral color palette, floor-to-ceiling windows with custom drapes, a warm fireplace, and crystal chandeliers. The Crystal Room is paired with an intimate garden courtyard perfect for an outdoor ceremony and/or cocktail reception.

Carriage House

A quaint hideaway and our newest event venue sit within the gardens of the Tidewater House. The Carriage House is the perfect venue for intimate meetings, rehearsal dinners, and weddings. This space gives our guests and couples an alternative to hosting their events under one roof at the Tidewater Inn while keeping with our extraordinary service and cuisine.

    We booked our wedding at the TWI just about 4 months before our date. Melanie, Sarah, and Brandi made the process so easy. Leading up to the date, they were easy-going and accommodating answering questions and recommending vendors. They were so easy to work with. The day/weekend of, they are true pros and took care of all sorts of little things without skipping a beat. Not to mention the food was incredible! and you can't beat the classic aesthetic of the venue.
