    The venue at The Social was spacious and clean, which was appealing. However, our experience with the owner was very unpleasant. She was rude, deceitful, and lacked professionalism. During our wedding, the owner and staff "offered" to help with things, then refused to return the deposit because they "had" to do extra work, even though there were several people cleaning and their help was not needed. While there was a situation that needed to be addressed during the reception, the guests were understanding and made changes immediately. Overall, the venue was beautiful, but the owner's behavior was unprofessional and unpleasant.
