About this venue
Currently part of the East Town Historic District, the home was built in 1852. This historic landmark incorporates elements of the Greek Revival and Italian styles and was part of the Underground Railroad. The rooms are decorated to display the style and materials available during this time; most of the furnishings visitors see were owned by the Kelton family. The gardens feature statuary, hedges, and diverse plant specimens that demonstrate a Victorian sensibility and are the perfect spot for your event!

Victorian Garden
Privacy is luxury. Our private Victorian Garden is the perfect fairytale ceremony space in the heart of downtown.
The Victorian Garden features an oval-shaped lawn with Greek Pillars at the back for a stunning ceremony backdrop. The garden is lined with lovely flowers and trees that bloom in spring and summer. The stone walkway makes a perfect isle, while the side garden walk is an entrance for your guests that they will never forget. This space is already beautiful, meaning no extra décor is necessary! The best of all worlds.

Our private brick Patio is directly next to the Carriage House. Tented May through October, it stays cool and shaded for dinner, cocktails, and more!
The space is fully bricked with a small garden on one side. Tented May through October for shade and coverage during the rain and heat. The tent has surround lighting, and the garden has up lighting for a beautiful ambiance during your event. A fully flexible space for receptions, ceremonies, cocktail hours, rehearsal dinners, and private events.

Carriage House
A lovely indoor space for intimate ceremonies and dinners. Fully bricked interior with high ceilings and large arched windows to view the garden.
The Carriage House is attached to the main house and is fully bricked walls with a faux wood floor and beamed ceilings. Three large arched windows give a beautiful view of the gardens to enjoy while being indoors. The space is fully air-conditioned or heated for the time of year necessary. One bathroom in this room is accessible with a ramp or stairs, which also leads to the rest of the house. A large fireplace with a mantel is perfect for displaying family photos during your event!

One small non-ADA restroom, ADA accessible, ramp to the main house, prep kitchen, and ADA restroom. Hooks on walls for hanging décor, fireplace with mantel for décor.
The Blue Room
The Blue Room is our beautiful wedding suite for the wedding party to prep final touches before the big moment! Peaceful, private, picture perfect.
Located on the second floor of the main house, The Blue Room is a private space for the wedding party to get ready. The space is furnished with old-style furniture that is safe to sit on, food and drink are allowed, and multiple mirrors for photos. A restroom is located on this floor for convenience and is safe to leave personal items during your event. This space is included in the rental cost.

The Brace Room
The second "get ready" space is located in the basement of the main house. Masculine style with exposed brick and dark wood gives a Speakeasy style.
The Brace Room is a very cool space located in the basement of the Kelton House. Its exposed brick walls and dark wood furniture provide a more masculine feel and speakeasy vibes. Food and drink are allowed in the space, a full-length mirror is on the back of the door, and a restroom is located across the hall for easy access. Perfect for a wedding party to get ready, rehearsal dinner location, and more!
