Spring Wedding
I picked Hotel Millwright as our reception venue before we were even engaged! The venue itself is timeless - we used the Merino Loft which features high ceilings, exposed brick, and beautiful tall windows lining the entire space. Not to mention - every corner of the hotel, from its hallways, to ceremony locations, to reception room, is picture perfect. Shelby made the entire planning process seamless from start to finish. To have a venue that offers lodging, ceremony space, reception venue, food & beverage all in one was a huge stressor off of my back. Rather than coordinating with multiple vendors (and ultimately hiring a wedding planner), I was able to do it myself! If you're on the fence, go with Hotel Millwright.

We absolutely loved having our wedding at Hotel Millwright! Shelby helped us plan a perfect day, personalized to us and our guests. The space was gorgeous and the exterior provided an amazing backdrop for our photos. We would recommend Hotel Millwright over and over again to anyone planning a wedding!

We worked closely with Shelby at Hotel Millwright for months leading up to our wedding, including many in person meetings to master our details! Hotel Millwright is a boutique hotel with beautiful spaces throughout including an event space, the Merino Loft. The food the hotel prepares is delicious and the display is top notch. The hotel has an in house baker and our cake she made was loved by all guests! All you need for an unforgettable weekend with your family is in Amana Colonies. We loved our wedding day at the Hotel Millwright! Shelby and all the staff were incredibly responsive and collaborative throughout the planning process. They provided wonderful guidance, tips, and even had a preferred vendor list that made the planning less stressful. Cannot recommend the Merino Loft as a reception venue enough, it is truly beautiful with the natural light coming from the surrounding windows to the exposed brick and everything in between. The banquet team was so attentive on the day and made our reception so enjoyable for us and our guests. From the food tasting to our wedding cake and buffet, the food was absolutely delicious! Everything you could want or need is right there at the Hotel Millwright, from guest rooms and bridal suites to the reception venue and local shops - our entire wedding party and guests had a truly memorable experience.
