My experience for having our wedding at The Highgate Manor was absolutely amazing! The owners and their staff are so kind and caring! They were so easy to work with and made it very easy for my husband and I to say yes to this venue! Any questions we had they were open to answer all of them! They made it so easy to see my vision of my wedding come true! I have lived near The Manor my whole life and seen it go through many owners throughout the years, and I’ve always wished that someone would turn this beautiful piece of history into something that our town would be proud of, and the owners did just that! They transformed the Manor into what it is now, and words can’t even explain all the hard work and dedication they have for this beautiful piece of history in a small town just to keep it alive, I applaud them! And I want to thank them for making my dream wedding come true!

Yes, all areas are wheelchair accessible, including a ramp to the ballroom. Hearing-impaired fire alarm lights are also provided.

Your booking includes 2 hours for micro weddings or elopements, ideal for intimate ceremonies and photography. Traditional wedding packages allow up to 6 hours, covering both ceremony and reception. Additional time can often be arranged for decorating, setup, or cleanup to accommodate your specific needs, subject to availability. All timings are flexible and can be tailored to create a seamless event experience.

Booking fees for our facilities, and all payments made including deposits, are refundable per our contract terms.

For out-of-town guests, several convenient airports are nearby: Burlington International Airport (BTV): ~35 miles south Plattsburgh International Airport (PBG): ~30 miles southwest Montreal-Pierre Elliott Trudeau International (YUL): ~1 hour north, across the Canadian border

Yes — Highgate Manor provides dedicated rooms for the wedding party to prepare, including space for hair, makeup, and dressing. These rooms also serve as ideal locations for pre-ceremony photos, capturing special moments in a charming, historic setting.

Absolutely. We encourage couples to schedule a tour to experience the Manor’s charm and walk through event possibilities.

Five charming guest rooms are available at the Manor (subject to availability). Additional lodging options can be found nearby in St. Albans. For those friends and family that may be traveling from out of state, convenient airport options include: Burlington International Airport (BTV) – ~35 miles south Plattsburgh International Airport (PBG) – ~30 miles southwest Montreal-Trudeau International Airport – just about an hour away, across the Canadian border

Highgate Manor does not currently provide in-house catering. However, we can recommend a selection of trusted local caterers experienced with weddings and events at the Manor. Couples are welcome to work directly with these vendors to create customized menus that fit their vision, dietary needs, and budget.

Events at Highgate Manor must follow local noise ordinances. Celebrations should conclude by 10 PM on weekdays and 11 PM on weekends to respect neighbors and property guidelines. Amplified music and loud activities should be kept at reasonable levels. Event hosts are responsible for ensuring guests comply with these guidelines to maintain a safe and enjoyable environment for all.
