We host dreamy, well-planned weddings + events that capture your vision so you can cherish the memories for a lifetime. Our stylish venue not only stands apart for its appearance, but the way we care about our guests + the details of your special event. The Colonial at Sunset is a beautiful space to host your wedding, baby shower, bridal shower, reunion, retreat, birthday party and more. We have on-site overnight accommodations so you can stay for the weekend with up to 16 of your friends and family. We have a variety of indoor and outdoor event spaces for both ceremony and reception, holding anywhere from micro-weddings to 225 guests. We get to know you as a couple, your style, and your vision, and bring those distinct elements to life on your wedding day. We are family owned and operated, and want to ensure your guests feel at home from the moment they arrive.

A rare gem
The Colonial at Sunset was an exceptional choice for our wedding venue. From start to finish, the team led by Britt was prompt, attentive, and incredibly flexible in accommodating any request we had. Their communication and responsiveness made the wedding planning process an absolute breeze - I was amazed at how they turned my initial ideas into a full, magical wedding experience in just 4 months. The venue itself is exceptionally beautiful, seamlessly blending old world charm with modern sparkle both online and in person. The all-inclusive package and their vetted vendor team made everything feel so seamless and integrated, taking the stress out of planning. As someone who hates event planning, they made it as easy as making a dinner reservation for me. I can't recommend The Colonial at Sunset highly enough - this hidden gem deserves every accolade for their exceptional quality of work and value. I'm amazed this venue isn't booked out years in advance, so I'd recommend booking them now before the secret gets out!
Perfect Venue
The venue was PERFECT - the exact vibe we wanted and we heard so many of our people complimenting the place. It was so easy to get ready there, have a beautiful ceremony outside, and dance the night away! They were so great to work with and truly helped through the stages of the planning process.
AMAZING VENUE
I cannot say enough wonderful things about Colonial at Sunset! We chose their all-inclusive wedding weekend option, and it made our entire wedding experience so incredibly easy and stress-free. My immediate family and I were able to stay in the stunning colonial home for the entire weekend, which created such a special, intimate atmosphere. We hosted our rehearsal dinner at the Poppy House by the pool, which was absolutely beautiful. The setting was perfect for an elegant yet relaxed evening, and the space really set the tone for the rest of the weekend. One of the best parts of the all-inclusive package was being able to book our DJ, photographer, bartenders, floral arrangements, catering, and decor all through the venue. The team at Colonial at Sunset made the planning process so much easier by helping us select vendors and coordinating everything, which was such a relief. They really took the stress out of the equation and ensured everything was seamless. There are multiple tiers to the package, so you can select the option that works best for your needs, and we truly felt that every detail was tailored to make our day unforgettable. Our guests were absolutely in awe of the venue—many of them couldn’t stop gushing about the beautiful surroundings all night long. We are so grateful to have had our wedding at Colonial at Sunset. The venue was absolutely perfect, and the entire team made our day run smoothly from start to finish. I would highly recommend this venue to anyone looking for a stunning, all-inclusive wedding experience!
