About this venue

The Caldwell Inn is a beautiful home built in the late 1800s. Today, the inn stands as a stately southern mansion boasting 5 beautifully appointed king bedrooms, inviting living areas, a state of the art caterer's kitchen and vibrant gardens. Adjacent to the inn stands The Carriage House reception hall and the Caldwell Pavilion that may be reserved separately for special events. The Caldwell Inn was specially designed to accommodate wedding weekends where the bride and groom can stay on premise with their wedding party throughout their wedding celebration. Our guests experience southern hospitality with the modern conveniences we all love!

Caldwell Wedding Chapel

Our beautifully restored and renovated 1876 chapel is the perfect location to say, "I do."

The Caldwell Chapel, which seats approximately 115 guests, sits on 2 picturesque acres boasting forest land, a gazebo, and sweeping green lawns. The chapel is the perfect mix of vintage Tennessee beauty and modern comfort.

The Caldwell Pavilion is a 2,400 sq. ft. covered outdoor venue space with soaring ceilings and sparkling white party lights.

Outdoor Paddock

For couples who prefer to get married under blue skies and shade trees, The Caldwell Inn now offers the sweet option of ceremonies in The Paddock.  

Our outdoor ceremony site is on property with the inn so it's convenient for your guests to attend your wedding and simply stroll down the path to your beautiful reception in the Grand Pavilion. The custom-built pergola with Greek columns is so pretty and mirrors the Greek Revival style of The Caldwell properties.  The Paddock seats up to 150 guests. Be sure to grab your sweetheart & snap a pic under the "Happily Ever After" mural in The Paddock before you leave!

    The Caldwell Inn and Chapel is an absolute gem. The physical property and amenities are exceptional. Equally extraordinary are the owners, Pam and Lincoln. Our family could not have been more impressed by their kindness, professionalism, and understanding. They were eager to help in any way, and they could relate to our questions, as they have been through two weddings with their own sons. The Inn was such a treat for the attendants to stay in overnight, and the groomsmen loved their cabin, too! We had both the rehearsal dinner and the wedding on The Caldwell Inn property and we could not be more pleased. Our family whole-heartedly recommends this for your perfect day.

What truly sets The Caldwell Inn apart is the full weekend experience they offer. Having exclusive access to the 5-bedroom mansion meant our entire wedding party could stay together, creating memories that extended far beyond the ceremony. The groom’s cabin provided a perfect, private spot for the guys to relax and get ready. And the full kitchen in the mansion made meals and late-night snacks easy and enjoyable.     We had the delightful pleasure of having our family reunion at The Caldwell Inn in April, 2025. The property is well managed and very clean and comfortable. We used the mansion and groom’s cabin for our overnight accommodations. The Carriage House was used for eating our meals and also for playing games. The outdoor area was for relaxation and we had our worship service on Sunday morning there. Pam and Lincoln Coggin are so gracious in sharing and maintaining this property. Our great niece was so impressed with this venue and the chapel, she has booked her wedding for May, 2026 at The Caldwell Inn and Chapel.
