About this venue
Located in Callicoon, New York, The Barn on Hubbard is a rustic and charming wedding venue. This fully restored 19th-century barn is ideal for couples who want a vintage wedding with all the modern amenities required for remarkable celebrations. The barn was originally built in the 1800s by the Gabel family from Germany. Dairy farmers by trade, this barn was the family's home and livelihood for many generations. Surrounded by picturesque meadows and the Catskill Mountains, the barn is now a desirable wedding site for those dreaming of a naturalistic festivity.

Excellent venue for rustic summer wedding
The Barn on Hubbard was the perfect venue for our wedding. From the very beginning, Sara and co were incredibly detail-oriented and clear in their communication, making the planning process seamless. The venue itself is truly stunning, with a great rustic vibe that allowed us to create the exact look and feel we were going for. The large, open space provided ample room for our 60 or so guests (and plenty more I'm sure, ours was a smaller early COVID era wedding), and the beautiful natural surroundings made for a breathtaking backdrop for our photos. The team also connected us with the best wedding planners, Laura and Alicia, who were incredibly generous, know the area and vendors extremely well, and coordinated so many things -- please pair them with your booking, I really cannot stress how critical they were to having a completely stress-free wedding. We could not have asked for a more perfect setting to celebrate our special day. Highly recommend The Barn on Hubbard to any couple looking for a beautiful, well-run space.
Magical rustic barn venue
We’ve had the pleasure of hosting several artisan markets at The Barn on Hubbard. This historic barn sits on a stunning property with sweeping views of rolling green trees, dairy farms, and unforgettable sunsets. Sara is a joy to work with, and we always recommend this venue to others.
The Barn on Hubbard
We couldn’t be happier with our wedding at The Barn on Hubbard. It is a beautiful venue that gave us the perfect indoor/outdoor experience we wanted. It is located in a small town but there were endless vendor options. The Barn has charming rustic bones as a backdrop for any decor. There are different options for the ceremony on site, and it was easy to have a back up plan incase the weather wasn’t on our side. The silo cocktail bar and lantern lit patios were a hit! There are acres of intimate and formal photo opportunities- especially the sunset views over the field. If you’re looking for a completely customizable, indoor/outdoor, rustic but chic barn experience, I highly recommend The Barn on Hubbard for your wedding venue!
An incredible spot for a perfect wedding
This venue was absolutely stunning. They renovated the barn to be such a charming spot against a picturesque backdrop. Sara was so kind and had very helpful recommendations! Everyone at our wedding had a total blast, and I wish I could go back and do it all over again!
