About this venue
The 1882 Reserve is a countryside barn venue located in northwest Ohio. The rustic charm is enhanced with wooden beams, high ceilings, and open spaces. It has ample natural light streaming through windows and open doors, with the added charm of Edison Bulb string lighting both inside and outside spaces. It’s the cozy atmosphere that feels perfect for weddings, parties, or events. The exterior includes picturesque surroundings of countryside views. A private Bridal Ready Room located in a grain bin offers a unique and charming setting for the bridal party to get ready. The interior is designed with a touch of rustic chic, featuring comfortable seating, full-length mirrors, and private bathroom, with ample space for dressing and pre-wedding preparations. The grain bin's circular shape creates an intimate atmosphere. Despite its unconventional location, the Bridal Ready Room in the grain bin ensures privacy and tranquility for the bride and her attendants as they prepare for the big day.

Wide open spaces. Country feel
A five-bent barn from the 1800s stands proudly amidst rolling fields, its weathered wooden exterior telling tales of bygone eras. Each bent, or section, of the barn is supported by stout wooden posts, connected by hand-hewn beams that stretch skyward. Sunlight filters through the cracks in the siding, casting warm, dappled patterns on the well-worn floors. Despite its age, the barn remains a sturdy and steadfast symbol of rural life in days gone by.

Above & Beyond
We got married 10.04.25, we had our rehearsal, ceremony and reception here. I can’t say enough wonderful things about this place. Not only is it absolutely beautiful inside and out but the owners went above and beyond to help this anxiety ridden bride. I also wanted to highlight the “cheat sheet” they gave us a year ago when we booked! It had a list of vendors ranging from day of coordinators to bartenders, caterers and so much more. It definitely helped make me feel less overwhelmed being able to pick from vendors they have worked with in the past. If you’re looking for a beautiful venue with everything in one place & fantastic owners book here!

The owners at the 1882 Reserve were wonderful to work with throughout our wedding planning process. They had quick responses and were highly accommodating, making the whole experience feel seamless. The space itself was charming, unique, clean, and had so much character - it was the perfect backdrop for our special day. They went above and beyond to help us set up and tear down, even assisting in moving chairs and tables between events. Every request we had was met with kindness, and they were so willing to do whatever we needed to transform their space into something that felt truly like us. I couldn't say enough good things about the owners and their beautiful venue.
Perfect
We got married at the very end of September and the barn was perfect. We held our ceremony on the backside of the barn then walked right into the barn for the reception. The bathroom location was very convenient for guests. I also used the bridal suite which helped reduce stress throughout the day. I received many compliments throughout the night about how beautiful the barn was. The owners were very helpful throughout the whole process.
Absolutely Amazing
We were married here back on May 31st, and I absolutely couldn't not have been happier with how the venue was and how everything played out. Barb and Tim, the couple that owns the venue, are so down to earth and so helpful. There is so much history in this barn and it is so beautiful and perfect for any wedding. Also there are so many amenities that make it so much easier, like the bridal suite (which is just as gorgeous as the rest of the venue). I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a wedding venue
