Swan Lake Caterers was a disappointment for our wedding day. They were not cooperative with our vendors, and it let us to suspect it was due to we opted out from their preferred vendors. For example, our florist couldn’t come and decorate the space because their poor management of the space. The reception still had unwanted ugly fake flower leftovers everywhere and it took a lot time to get rid of those things before we could put out our decorations. Also, our florist left us flower petals for our ceremony and specifically told the venue people to bring that to me—-but I never got those petals and never got to use them for my ceremony. The venue also forgot to light up several candles that were supposed to be set with the centerpieces, and also misplaced our cocktail hour flowers. Swan lake also did not let our photographer to choose the first look location and just led us to a spot that was not athletically appealing at all. They never said in anywhere that there were only limited areas for us to take pictures. And don’t get me wrong, apparently, golfers worth more to them than people who paid tons to get married there. During our portrait sessions, whenever we stopped at a spot and there was golfer there, we had to move and gave our way to the single golfer that might or might not hit to a potential direction that was not even close to where we wanted to take pictures. Their communication style was poor - they were not responsive unless we needed to make a payment. The quality of their work and overall value was lacking, as we had to share the outdoor space with golfers during our event. We also had to fight with them to have an early arrival, and when we arrived, golfers were everywhere—in the reception area and the bar and outdoors. The food was extremely bad — unless for some possibility one never really been to a real restaurant other than this place. Everything is either too salty or lack flavors. And seafood was especially awful—not fresh at all. They also embarrassed us so much because we were told by several guests that the liquor was watered down, which really detracted from the special day we had envisioned. We also noticed this issue but we thought it might be a one time thing when we had a round of shots towards the end. However, it was later confirmed by several guests that the drinks including several different cocktails were mixed with excessive unwanted water/ice. Overall, we would not recommend Swan Lake Caterers to any couple looking for a wedding venue. We raised the questions posted here to them several ever since our wedding day but to this day, we never received any satisfactory answers not even any explanations at all. Their lack of professionalism and poor execution made us very regret choosing them to be the caterers and the place we wed. If I can, I would even want to give a negative star. And I hate to leave a review here but I deserve at least an apology and explanation for what happened.

Choosing a wedding venue is one of the biggest decisions you'll make during the planning process and I can confidently say, choosing Swan Lake Caterers was the best decision we made. I’m so excited to write this review so other couples can have a similarly incredible experience! I looked everywhere around the tri-state area from Jersey, to Connecticut, all the boroughs (including Staten Island!!) to all over Long Island. Swan Lake Caterers was actually the first venue I visited, and I fell in love instantly. But, like many brides, I was indecisive. I kept searching, trying to be sure… and after every other tour, I kept coming back to Swan Lake in my heart, I had a feeling it was the one! And it absolutely was. The entire day was seamless, magical, and full of joy. One of the most touching things someone said to me was from my sister. She told me, “So many brides can’t enjoy their wedding day because there’s so much going on but we could see in your face how carefree and happy you were. You were truly having fun” This was in large part due to Swan Lake Caterers allowing me to focus on my husband, family and friends. They gave us peace of mind, beautiful surroundings, and the freedom to be fully present in every moment. The food was out of this world, our guests are still talking about it! Sophia and Charlie really catered to what we wanted and to our guests’ dietary needs! Including three of our vegan family members. The venue itself was picture perfect. It was elegant, romantic, and timeless! One of my guests said it looked like it was out of a Disney movie. Elena, our maitre-d worked with me in the months leading up to the wedding to make sure the decor and vibe was everything we wanted. She knocked it out of the park! Even though it was a little chilly, and started to drizzle, Sophia was in contact with us in the week leading up to it, to make sure everyone was comfortable temperature wise. They were so unimaginably attentive to us! The day of, Elena made sure that even without a rehearsal everything went off without a hitch. Speaking of attentiveness, Jill, my bridal attendant, was simply amazing. She made sure we had drinks in our hand, food on our plates, helped me fix the train on my dress a million and one times. I’m pretty sure they helped one of my guests fix a ripped dress? Seriously. People said it was one of the best weddings they’ve been to! If you're thinking about getting married here, stop thinking and just say YES. I can’t express how incredibly grateful I am to Swan Lake Caterers and would love it for every other couple (and their guests) to have a similar experience!

Swan Lake Caterers was an incredible vendor to work with for our wedding. From the very first interaction, their communication was transparent, reliable, and frequent - they did not miss a beat! The quality of their work and overall value is unmatched as far as I'm concerned. Their attention to detail is also second to none - the team at Swan Lake thinks of EVERYTHING and they are all the most classy and respectful vendors I've ever worked with. I would recommend Swan Lake to anyone, anytime. Our wedding day was the best day of our lives - and without them it wouldn't have been possible.

I have been working in the wedding industry for seven years and have worked at just about every venue on Long Island except Swan Lake Caterers. I was blown away by this gem of a venue. I need everyone on Long Island to know about this amazing staff and venue. The venue was nothing short of spectacular. From start to finish, the experience was enhanced by the outstanding staff. Mary, our bridal attendant, was a true gem—her attentiveness and kindness ensured that everything ran smoothly and that I felt pampered and supported throughout the day. My husband and I were so impressed with her. She was hands down the best bridal attendant I have ever worked with. Elaina, the maitre’d, AMAZING. I was a DIY bride and she helped us execute my vision seamlessly. She managed the flow of the event with incredible grace and efficiency, making sure every detail was perfect and our guests were well taken care of. Sophia, the sales manager, I can’t say enough about her and the absolute pleasure it was working with her. She was instrumental in making the planning process seamless; her expertise and enthusiasm were invaluable. She was so flexible, kind and just a genuine soul. The food was another highlight of our celebration. Every dish was not only beautifully presented but also delicious, with flavors that left our guests raving. The combination of an amazing venue, exceptional staff, and delectable cuisine made our wedding day truly unforgettable. We wholeheartedly recommend this venue to anyone looking to create a memorable and flawless event.
