A Sierra Nevada landmark and tradition, the Chalet is located at an elevation of 5,600 feet in beautiful Pinecrest, California. Seven wooded acres dotted with cozy cottages and spacious chalets offer guests an ideal basecamp for your wedding. One mile from Pinecrest Lake and neighboring the Emigrant Wilderness, the Chalet is the ideal place for endless outdoor activities during your wedding weekend. Enjoy swimming, hiking, fishing, horseback riding, and more. At the Chalet, you and your guests can play horseshoes and swim in our pool, or relax by the fire and roast some s’mores.
