About this venue

Located at the edge of Jack London Square, you’ll follow a rainbow serape into an outdoor oasis known as the Bay Area’s first margarita garden. NIDO’s BackYard focuses on seasonal Mexican cuisine along with a curated list of agave spirits and cocktails. Our Motto is “Mi Backyard es Sú Backyard” welcoming all to enjoy Oakland’s beautiful weather (shine & the occasional rain!), margaritas, buenas vibras, and fun times in our BackYard. ¡Que comience la fiesta!

La Plaza

¡Make it big for when it’s time to go Más Grande!

La Plaza is our fully private event space — the best place to host a wedding in Oakland! It can accommodate seated dinners, weddings, receptions, corporate mixers, and anything else you can imagine. Equipped with its own bar and A/V system, La Plaza is a flexible space with enough room for a live band, dance floor, photo booth, live performance, you name it!

La Fiesta Table

20 Amigos came to a dinner party….

The rest is up to you. Our Fiesta Table is the perfect spot when you want your party to still be a part of the party. Located in a semi-private area of our main dining area, La Fiesta Table is ideal for rehearsal dinners, family gatherings, birthdays or just catching up with friends.

Our booking fee for this table is $10 per person plus tax. The minimum number of guests is 15 and maximum is 20. Your reservation is for 3 hours and allows for the flexibility to order as they wish from our in-house food and drink menu.
