About this venue

Mocama Beer Company offers an experience curated for seekers, blending classic design, future vision, and attention to detail in everything we do. Finding beauty in the pursuit of perfection, our goal is to engage the senses while creating opportunities for connection. Founded by four friends, Mocama Beer Company was born out of a shared desire to brew distinctive beers in a unique space on Amelia Island. We found home a few blocks from historic downtown Fernandina Beach in the former Lasserre Motor Company building. Originally constructed in 1954, the 18,000 square foot building has been transformed into an elegant mid-century taproom. Nowhere else on Amelia Island can you celebrate, entertain, and dine in such a comfortable, uniquely crafted setting. Designed to host a wide variety of events, including weddings, parties, live music, showers, receptions, dinners, and presentations, we accept reservations for parties of up to 200.

Showroom

A cozy, intimate space surrounded by windows and lush trees.

This area was the showroom for Lasserre Ford and is now furnished with custom leather couches and chairs along with walnut tables and bench seating. Our showroom space is surrounded by large windows, accented by warm lighting, low-top seating, and two lounge soft-seating areas—perfect for an intimate, elevated celebration. The showroom seats up to 45 guests comfortably, with additional standing space available. Standing room holds up to 90 people.

Biergarten

A secluded, shaded oasis with cozy lounge seating.

Exclusive access to our new outdoor Biergarten featuring a mix of seating options, including soft lounge pods, high tops, low tops, and a fire pit. It’s an ideal setting for a laid-back yet stylish celebration. Accommodates up to 70 guests. Add ons: Popup bar service (core canned beer and wine options), catering, and A/V or live music.
