About this venue
This beautiful building was built in the late 1800s as a railroad station to support the loading, unloading, and storage of freight. In 1990, it was restored to become an event and wedding venue that can easily accommodate 120 of your closest family and friends. The leather belt-driven ceiling fans, wooden phone booth, beadboard ceilings and walls, vintage baggage cart, and authentic gas-fired, pot-bellied stoves add to the charming atmosphere of this function hall. Our hall is the perfect setting for weddings & receptions. There is also the option to add our Out-of-Town Guest Suite for overnight stays. This one bedroom quarters is a one minute drive and a short walk to the venue hall.

Excellent food, Warm and Cozy Venue
We looked at several venues for our smallish wedding of 80-100 people; all of them were either overpriced, or just didn't fit our needs. Twelve31 Catering fit both our budgetary needs, and their venue (a restored rail depot on the Tilton/Northfield line) immediately won us over. We ordered their Rose Gold buffet, Charcuterie board, and several passed hors d'oeuvres for our guests; this combination turned out to be a HUGE hit with all, specifically the steak tips, chicken marsala, and the charcuterie board. One month after our wedding, we still have folks raving about the presentation of the charcuterie board (which, as the groom, I only saw AFTER it was ravaged by our guests!). The rail depot itself has plenty of parking both at the site and around the immediate area; the surrounding rail cars (owned by independent collectors and hobbyists) make a perfect backdrop for photos, and the hall itself is heated with gas converted antique coal stoves to add to the turn-of-the century ambiance. We ended up with two full pans of chicken and steak, which we froze and enjoyed over the next month or so after our wedding. You will NOT be disappointed with their food!

We didn't know what to expect when we hired Twelve 31 for our wedding reception, but we visited the venue and loved its authentic feel—the antique decor and the perfect amount of space for our 100 guests. Michael, one of the owners, communicated with us all year, answering promptly every question, from important to mundane. I didn't have a wedding planner or coordinator so I had a lot of questions!! The night of our wedding, when we walked into our reception (our ceremony was outside at a private home), the whole venue looked magical. And the food was out of this world. I had many, many guests tell me that it was the best reception they'd been to maybe ever!! Michael and Melissa, we cannot thank you enough for giving us the night of our lives!
Train station was the perfect rustic wedding
Our wedding at the Train station was nothing but amazing!! Would definitely recommend for weddings or any other big events!
Perfect Late September Wedding
We got married here in September of 2024. The space is definitely tight at the 120 capacity but we made it work great and the staff was very accommodating to make sure everything flowed well. All my guests loved the food too. This venue is priced very well for how nice it looks inside.
