The 2,048 square foot Athens Room, located on our fourth level was once the dead letter room for the US Post Office. Featuring expansive floor to ceiling windows, with natural lighting, overlooking the Courtyard, twenty foot ceilings and antique scrollwork and millwork. Measuring 32 feet wide by 64 feet long, this is an ideal room for a classroom set for up to 120,or an expansive hollow square up to 70.

Dynamic, bold yet a historic event space, for 2016 the original 1850's Postmaster General's library is now renovated and repositioned as a signature Washington DC event ballroom. An intimate setting for business meetings and corporate events with natural skylights and floor to ceiling windows we comfortably host smaller conference or ushape sets for 30 or comfortably up to 200 in a classroom or crescent rounds set.

Incredible experience!
The Kimpton Hotel Monaco Washington DC was the perfect venue for our wedding. From the moment we first reached out, they were extremely responsive and helpful in answering all of our questions. The space itself was absolutely stunning - clean, modern, and the perfect backdrop for our special day. The staff, especially Jennifer, went above and beyond to ensure every detail was perfect and that all of our needs were met. They were always available to address any questions or concerns we had, and truly contributed to making our wedding day absolutely flawless. I couldn't say enough positive things about the Kimpton Hotel Monaco and their incredible team. We are so grateful for the role they played in giving us the wedding of our dreams!
