Great venue, questionable vendor list
The venue itself was great. It was very beautiful and unique place to have a wedding. The only thing we didn’t like about this venue is their recommended vendors. We were required to use their vendors or a deposit of 1000 to the venue was needed to book someone outside of it. We really trusted them on this and everyone was great except for our wedding coordinator, Ramona from Simple Country Weddings. She was a huge disappointment because she turned out to be very passive aggressive, which is the last thing any couple needs. She also did not leave enough time to set up the decor which resulted in the groom, family and friends helping her team with set up. Lastly she lacked communication skills on the day of. Our wedding party had no idea where she was before the wedding or when we were supposed to start the ceremony. She was truly awful to work with.
Forever in debt to GHG
Our wedding was 5.4.24 and was one of the best days of our lives thanks to everyone at Gold Hill Gardens. From the friendly service, attention to detail, extra decor, gorgeous house, beautiful venue spots, and everything in between. Even with rain and a massive hail storm, we were able to have so many options for our ceremony and reception and Mike even checked in on us! We could not of asked for a more perfect venue and staff to work with for our big day. We will forever owe Gold Hill Gardens for one of the best days of our life that we can look back on forever!
