Located in the heart of Scottsdale Quarter, across from the quad, Culinary Dropout serves classic meals done right. Melt into the comfortable, laid-back atmosphere and feast on crowd favorites like our pretzel bites and provolone fondue, 36-hour pork ribs, and our famous fried chicken, drizzled with honey. Thirsty? Wash it all down with an ice-cold craft beer or a killer house-made cocktail. You can revel in live music in the main dining room and patio areas, or one of our many private spaces. Whatever you choose, Culinary Dropout is the place for people who enjoy damn good food and drinks.

Culinary Dropout offers a dynamic and stylish setting for events of all sizes, with a range of flexible spaces to suit any occasion.
For intimate gatherings, The Absinthe Room seats 20 with a private bar and connects to the Peralta Room (30 seats) and Legends Room (30 seats) for added space. The Full Private Dining Room holds 80 seated or reception-style. The Main Dining Room & Indoor Patio seats 20 in a lush, modern setting. Lounge Seating fits 30–40 seated or 50 standing; High-tops seat 14 or 20 standing. The Outdoor Patio hosts 36 seated or 45 standing. Full and partial buyouts available for up to 600 guests.

Great Experience for my Large Event!
I recently hosted a welcome party for 150 people at Culinary Dropout in Scottsdale, and I genuinely can’t say enough good things about the experience. From the moment we started planning, everything just felt easy, fun, and taken care of—and that’s entirely thanks to the amazing team there, especially our event coordinator, Brooke. Brooke was truly a lifesaver. She was kind, patient, organized, and incredibly responsive throughout the entire planning process. She helped me bring the vision for the event to life and made sure every detail was perfect. On the day of the party, she and the staff handled everything so smoothly that I actually got to relax and enjoy the night—which never happens when you’re hosting something this big! The vibe at Culinary Dropout was exactly what we were going for—cool, energetic, and welcoming. The space is beautiful and laid-back, with plenty of room for people to move around, talk, and have fun. It struck the perfect balance between casual and special. And the food—wow. I’m still hearing from guests about how good everything was. The fried chicken and biscuits were a huge hit, and the house-smoked ribs disappeared fast. Everything came out hot, fresh, and delicious. The drinks were just as good—the bartenders kept everyone happy, and the cocktail menu had something for everyone. Hosting a party for 150 people can be overwhelming, but Culinary Dropout made it feel effortless. I walked away from the night feeling happy, proud, and really grateful that we chose this place. If you’re thinking about throwing an event here—do it. You’ll be in great hands.
Best Friends Rehearsal Dinner
I had such a lovely experience planning my best friends rehearsal dinner at Culinary Dropout! Brooke was so helpful every step of the way and helped create a personalized experience with custom menus! From the food to the planning to the drinks and execution, I could not recommend this place enough!!
