Welcome to Belle Oaks Inn Bed & Breakfast, a historic treasure in the heart of Texas. Built in 1912 by banker C.E. Dilworth for his wife Leonora Kockernot, this Greek Revival mansion has a storied past. Belle Oaks Inn has seen everything from family home to dormitories for medical staff and later a private residence. After a meticulous renovation in 2000, the mansion was restored to its original grandeur, offering elegant accommodations and a glimpse into Gonzales's rich history.     My husband and I got married in March of 2025 at the Belle Oaks Inn! We rented out the entire inn for the weekend of our ceremony and it was so magical. The house is beautiful and the service is so wonderful. Everyone that works there is so personable and friendly. Our rooms were beautifully kept and the breakfast that was served was delicious! Our ceremony was held on the front steps of the inn and our reception held surrounding the pool in the backyard. It was the perfect backdrop for photos! The property was easy to navigate for our guests and everyone remarked on how gorgeous it was. Not only that, but Monica and Clint were incredibly helpful in making sure the day went off without a hitch. It was the perfect weekend and an even more perfect wedding thanks to the Belle Oaks Inn! We will be returning for vacation as soon as possible! To anyone looking for a wedding venue, I can’t recommend this one enough! If you want a special, personal, and unique wedding, the Belle Oaks Inn is your place!

    I don’t believe in fate, so I give all the glory to God—but finding Belle Oaks felt divinely timed. Our wedding weekend there was nothing short of pure bliss. From the peaceful surroundings to the thoughtful touches in every corner, it was more than just a venue—it was part of the story we were meant to tell. The hosts were gracious and thoughtful, available when we needed them. Belle Oaks is more than a beautiful bed and breakfast—it’s a blessing.
