Designed in the spirit of the world’s first golf courses, Ballyowen is one of the top golf courses in New Jersey, with a spectacular links-style layout that channels the heathland style landscapes of Ireland and Scotland. Designed by Roger Rulewich, the longtime lead design associate for Hall of Fame designer Robert Trent Jones Sr., the award-winning course occupies 250 acres across a scenic plateau.

Exchange vows surrounded by rolling farmland, craggy knolls, plunging quarries, native grasses and plush golf course fairways. The magnificent stone Clubhouse and Bailigh Bluff House embody an old-world design, decorated in dark woods and featuring a cathedral ceiling, circular bar and large stone fireplace offering breathtaking views. The Bailigh Bluff House accommodates up to 150 guests for a reception.

Ballyowen Golf Club was an excellent choice for our wedding venue. The communication with the staff was very seamless throughout the planning process - they were extremely responsive and helpful in answering any questions we had. The venue itself is a large, beautiful space that provided great value for the reasonable price. On the day of the wedding, the Maitr D Marc was attentive and ensured everything ran smoothly. Our wedding coordinator Lee was also fantastic, not missing a beat in executing all the details. The entire staff was so friendly and willing to help make our special day perfect.

We are soo happy we chose Ballyowen for our July wedding. We did not want the grand white ballroom style and Ballyowen was exactly what we were looking for. The ceremony space was beautiful. We had perfect weather. And the cocktail and reception space had so much character. Perfect for our 115 person wedding. Our guests raved about the classy unique style, space and we had a gorgeous sunset! It really was perfect for us. Food and desserts were also a huge hit.

Ballyowen Golf Club is a fantastic wedding venue to work with. Their staff is incredibly friendly. The venue itself is beautiful, with stunning views that provide the perfect backdrop for wedding photos. We would highly recommend Ballyowen Golf Club to any couple looking for a reliable and accommodating wedding venue. The food is amazing as well! We feel like part of the Ballyowen family when we are photographing weddings here!

This is one of the four Crystal Springs properties in north-west NJ in the Vernon area. It is a stunning location with spectacular views - perfect for intimate events, and boasts a rustic, yet charming feel. The venue can host up to 150 guests, but personally, I'd cap in the ball park, give or take, around 135. My wedding had just shy of 100 people and the day couldn't have been more perfect 3. The coordinator I requested/was assigned (in the months leading up to our event), Silje, and our maitre'd on the day of, Marc, were both fantastic to work with! They truly made sure the vision we had for the day was exactly what we wanted it to be!
