Over the past 10 years, I have enjoyed helping friends & family plan many events. It was after planning my own wedding, that I realized I wanted to continue helping others create unforgettable events too! Outside of working, I enjoy spending time with my husband, our pets and my bonus daughter! I also enjoy baking, traveling, gaming, and gardening.

I have the skills & ability to help keep things organized & running smoothly before, during & after any event. I work on all types of events, from start to finish. I have worked with weddings that have a guest count of 50 or 500. I have a professional Wedding Planner certification from IAP Career College. Please check out some of my previous work!

    MARISSA WAS THE BEST WEDDING COORDINATOR!!! My husband and I can't stress enough how valuable she was to us on our wedding day and leading up to it. She was always on top of everything and vey well organized. She always responded to us quickly and provided helpful insight on wedding day logistics to help our day run smoother. Day of, she was calm, cool, and collected. She took care of everything she said that she was going to do and more. She put out small fires that I never knew happened. She brought my vision for my wedding to life and kept us on schedule. She even helped me with last minute requests I had and took care of things without anyone having to ask. Her efficiency, expertise, and stress relief that she provided was priceless. I HIGHLY recommend her as a wedding day coordinator and would hire her again in a heartbeat!!

Marissa, our wedding planner, had fantastic communication skills and kept us organized through the planning process. She met with us multiple times to ensure she fully understood our vision for the big day, and her attention to detail was unparalleled. Marissa made sure all the decorations were perfect and provided clear instructions to our vendors on where they needed to be. I could not recommend Lavender & Rye Events more highly. They truly helped make our wedding day a dream come true.

    Marissa was clear, calm, and collected the entirety of our wedding journey. She helped my wife and I feel stress free the day of, and was always available for any and every need we had. She was prompt with her responses, and constantly checking in on us throughout the afternoon and evening. We are so happy with how our day turned out, and Marissa was a huge piece!

    Marissa was perfect. She built timelines for everyone, took over the day of coordination from me (the MOH), which allowed me to actually enjoy my daughters wedding. Marissa met the Bride & Bridesmaids at the hotel to ensure they left on time, she helped decorate the venue with of our personal touches. She herded cats (the groomsmen), ensured the reception activities all happened as planned, and she even helped us pack up at the end of it all. Hiring Marissa is the best investment I made in the wedding budget! I was able to comfortably and confidently turn everything over to Marissa on the Wedding Day allowing me to be the MOH and not a chicken with my head cut off. Thank you Marissa!!!
