RD Events & Design
RD Events & Design is an event planning and design service that serves the Upstate New York area, located on the shores of Lake Ontario in Oswego, New York. With experience planning all types of events, from a wedding at an airport to fundraisers involving only chicken wings, and of all different sizes, from 50 guests to 500 guests, we are confident that we can provide you with the professionalism, flexibility, and creativity that you need for your event!
We understand that there are no do-overs when it comes to getting it right and will make it our goal to exceed your expectations at every turn so that hiring us turns out to be the best decision you make in planning your event.

RD Events is fantastic!!!!
It’s difficult to put into words how thankful we are to have hired Rachael for our September 2025 wedding. From the start Rachael took our vision and got to work connecting us with vendors and creating our mood board. Rachael truly has all of the best connections in the finger lakes area and there’s no way we would have found such fantastic vendors without her. There isn’t a single thing I would have changed about our wedding, literally every single detail was perfect. From martini ice luges to a raw bar, Rachael saw our vision and said “you got it” with no hesitation. It was almost like Rachael brought the most magical sunset to our wedding too. You’d be silly not to hire her. I wish we could do it all over again next weekend.

Rachael and I clicked from the second we got on the phone. I knew right away she was going to help make this a stress-free process, and that she did. We worked with Rachael for our October 2023 wedding at The Otesaga Resort Hotel in Cooperstown, New York. I couldn't have been more appreciative for her opinions, advise, and organization. Rachael helped me to create my vision for our wedding and executed it flawlessly. She was easy to communicate with and I felt like I could be honest and myself. Rachael had total control over all the vendors we utilized (even the last-minute additions) while also being there for me 24/7. Throughout the wedding planning process, she was the best friend I never knew I needed. Rachael is professional, calm, but also makes you feel like family. She is so passionate about what she does and you can tell from the minute you meet her. Our guests were also obsessed with her - She's an amazing people-person and someone you want by your side. My only regret was not finding her sooner. Rachael is your go-to wedding planner and coordinator. If you choose to work with Rachael & her team (which you should) your wedding day will be flawless, special, and the most amazing day of your life.
