Hello! I am Wendy, an award winning Chicago wedding photographer. I personally, will be the photographer on your wedding day, I am a one woman small business. My photo journey started 15 years ago shooting concerts, most recently Depeche Mode! I fell in love with the art of photography and started capturing weddings! I love seeing all the details you so lovingly design into your wedding day and capturing the big picture of how awesome you, your wedding and guests are.
My style is clean, colorful, vivid and alive! I am an indoor lighting expert, half of your wedding will be inside, this is important. You can expect your photos to have a mix of photo-journalistic and candid with traditional detailed and posed shots blended in. I am flexible and easy going and love working with fun-loving couples who are madly in love! Yes! I will help you with all your photos and LOVE being the photo director on your wedding day. Some of my favorite things are genuine smiles, love, nature, being silly, the sound of string instruments, coffee, yoga, and vintage shopping!

She is so personable and easy to talk to, having pictures taken by her instantly felt like it was with someone I already knew. The turn around time on our engagement pictures was unbelievable, in a good way. I noticed something I wasn’t crazy about (too critical of myself) and she changed it right away, no questions asked. Her work with lighting is fantastic and she captured exactly what I was looking for. So incredibly grateful to be working with her.

Wendy Schreier is an ace wedding photographer, who wonderfully captured our engagement, ceremony, and reception. From the start, Wendy showcased her flexibility on photography styles She brings a great energy to the pursuit of capturing perfect candid moments while also listening to couples’ visions on more scripted shots. Wendy truly goes beyond the call of duty during a shoot, even going so far as to pluck a bee off of my wife-to-be during our wedding photos outside (she was literally putting herself in harm's way to save the day). Wendy has great experience in the Chicago area, bringing past experience with areas, locations, and venues to her craft. The resulting photos were terrific, and Wendy gave us a bounty of options to download and print from. We not only had a great time reviewing the photos after the events, but truly enjoyed the time spent with Wendy personally crafting our wedding journey.
